I would have a hard time believing anything Erica does in the iPhone scene would be faked. "He" has been messing with this stuff since pretty much the beginning of the iPhone.

Considering that, I'd find it hard to believe if it really WAS fake, and the video would was released with the intention of being a hoax and knowing such, would have the gas on the wrong side, and other simple things people have pointed out.

Just the regular A/V cables. iPhones already can output to TV music and videos, they just made it so their app can also output to TV. Like these (I'm sure you can find cheaper generic kind elsewhere, I just went quickly to the apple store)

Yes, a well-known developer for the iPhone with a number of top-seller apps made a fake video of him working with Erika (one of the most influential people in the iPhone modding community) showing a test application he compiled to see if the TV-out function which only worked with the ipod.app works on apps of his own creation JUST to get a rise out of people.

You and everyone else calling this a fake is an idiot. Developers like him shouldn't even need to prove themselves to skeptics like you, he's awesome enough just getting the thing running.

We get about 20 frames a sec, give or take. Right now, no touch events are registering, so we hard wired the game to have the gas down. But the tilt is 1 to 1. Makes the iPhone a hell of a game controller.

Erica Sadun is a HIGHLY RESPECTED DEVELOPER IN THE IPHONE COMMUNITY. Ever heard of the iPhone Developers Cookbook? or maybe you should go to TUAW (sister site of Engadget) and check her profile. For those of you that dont know, Engadget is in the top 5 when it comes to tech blogs. You really think someone of her magnitude is going to waste time reporting this-only to have it be a hoax??? It would take longer using Final Cut or After Effects to make this "fake" video than it took to hack the API and actually make this possible. You people that keep saying its "def fake" need to read more. Million bucks says youre a bunch of 15 year olds with nothing better to do except sit around on a half-assed blog site like this. (No offense modmyi, but you guys really do report stuff the bigger sites do only days later, and even go as far as using the exact same wording from the orignal posts on macrumors, engadget, ars, etc)

This Looks Fake-

1. Why is he pushing the gas opposite side?
2. the gas pedal also Lights up with ur fingerprint when PUSHED. wheres that? Since its just a video out it should show everything, no?
and most importantly...
3. The game doesnt even start on a ROLL.. its starts at a dead stop.


In fact theres no loading of anything related to the game,no menu, levelbike selections-

looks like he's watching a video not actually playing.
