Just installed it. I see no differences other then the ringtones section, which was mentioned in Steve's Keynote. Oh well, better late than never. Now we can to pay for some ringtones instead of doing it for free. Let me know if anyone observes anything else. I didn't find any firmware updates in there, and nothing about the wifi-music store.

you have to plug in your iphone after you update. Then select your iphone and look at it's tabs - you'll see ringtones.

But, I'm confused. Every song I'm looking up has no ringtones for it. I don't see that special ringtone logo in the itunes store. They should have a section for what ringtones are available. I'm guessing it's going to be those homo-mainstream pop songs.

guys, its coming later this month I believe with the release of the wifi iTunes store. For now be thankful that we can mod out a ringtone for free =)

Guess what boys and girls. Sync = Custom Ringtones "BYE BYE"

If you sync it.....Itunes will delete it (ringtones that is) Tested it using Iphone ringtonemaker and iRingtone 1.51

I synced and just unchecked ringtones, everything synced fine and I didnt lose anything.

Are you using windows?

I updated my iTunes.. Didnt touch any of the settings and synced my iPhone.. I didn't lose my ringtones.

Or just FTP them to Var/Root/Library/Ringtones

It did take away the iToner rintones.

as long as you dont sync the ringtones section it wont remove the ones you added using any method

This is incorrect...

I unchecked ringtones in iTunes then re-added my Ringtones with iToner. When I re-connected my phone to sync with iTunes I lost ALL my custom ringtones...

I emailed Ambrosia Software & they confirmed this & said they are working on a solution...

I just synced and it made me restore my phone. Crap! Used iFuntastic before to change ringtones.
