Ok just so I get this right the first time...
I have an unlocked 2G on 2.0.X and wanna upgrade to 2.2 and am using Windows

Do I wanna update in iTunes first and then go through the QuickPwn process or how should I do it? I tried reading through all the pages and thought I didn't find anything...anyone?

OK a bunch of people have asked about 2G iPhone with Quickpwn, let me see if I understand the process. This is not verified.

1-Sync/Backup your iPhone
2-Update iTunes to 8.02
3-Download Quickpwn and Apple firmware
3-Run Quickpwn and create a custom firmware
4-Shift-Restore to the custom firmware

Can someone verify that this would be OK? The dev-team wrote that you should update before running Quickpwn??? I may be confused.
