Firmware 2.2 JAILBROKEN

Hey Can someone PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

ok I updated my IPhone 3g to the 2.2 firmware through itunes..

I didnt sync nothing..yet..

opened up quickpwn and uploaded the 2.2 firmware I downloaded..

then it was ready to pwn.. and it says "WAIT FOR YOUR IPHONE TO CONNECT IN RECOVERY MODE"

and its stuck on that screen.!! my iphone is on recovery mode. But it doesnt move to the next step which should be "HOLD DOWN THE HOME BUTTON FOR 5 SECONDS AND SO ON.."

its just stuck on the wait for you iphone to connect in recovery mode...

can someone please tell me what is wrong???


im on vista.. and I was updating my iphone from 2.1 jailbroken 3g

Ok guys I seriously need some HELP here...I have tried everything!!

I went from jailbroken 3g 2.1 to 2.2

I CANNOT MAKE PHONE CALLS, as soon as I call I get "Call Failed"
Wat's weird is I can receive calls and even text so its not att obviously.

I really need some help here, dont get wats wrong

phones still working fine, im calling out and texting fine, is like i said just cydia and installer are gone and missing but everything else is working flawlessly

i understand what u were trying to say. u didnt have to jailbreak in order to bypass the activation screen. it just went right by it. so really it stayed activated just not jailbroke

if you download the fw through itunes u shouldnt need anything except the quickpwn.exe

I did. i tried it like 3 times..

now that i unplugg it and disconnect.. it just goes straight to me recovery screen on my iphone.. so i had to restore it again..

did the same thing and still on that screen on quickpwn...

im going to try it on my xp computer..

I just updated to 2.2 custom firmware posted on HoFo. Everything is working but I want to try out the new features such as Streetview and Transit. Where do I go to access them? Google maps looks the same as 2.1 What am I missing?

So MMS doesn't work on iPhone 2.2?
And is losing the unlock really that bad?
Because at the moment my Settings application has ****** up, and I cannot open it, so I really need to restore and everything, so I'd like to kinda upgrade as well for the podcasts and street view and less lag and everything...thanks.
Also does Cycorder work on 2.2?
