Has anyone noticed that when you are making a call the display doesnt go off when you hold it near yuor ear?
This is the case for me...
This will cause you to press some buttons on your screen when making a call... sux

Thats strange. I have so many problems with this jailbreak allready. Now i thought i had it working but i have this problem.
I had cydia, installer and some other programs stored in categories before the update.
I made a backup and updated. Then i put backup back and did a jailbreak. After that i find out Cydia is not showing up, because categories put it hidden, so i cant install anything to unhide it.
So what i do now is, i restore, activate sim, jailbreak (then cydia is there), install bosspref to unhide cydia after i restore my backup.
So much work because of that stupid categories program... :-(

Well, time for another restore then...

Just did a complete restore, no jailbreak or put a backup back.
No apps installed and i am running 2.2 on my G3.
But when i make a call my display doesnt turn off... Anyone knows what can cause this? And better... how to fix it

I will admit that Push is actually working like gangbusters, and all the new features seem to be working...

However i am really disappointed with streetview :-(

You have to drop a pin first to determine if you can have have street view in the area, and then you can access it with the little man image when you push the purple pin.

Would have been nice if they made it more like on Google where you can just see map view with an icon or something.

Not sure if anyone else has found this or not. If you are on any page other than the first one of your home screen and you hit the home button it returns you to the first page of your home screen.

i was only getting that stress view icon when i did a search for a suburb
now i no how to use it its awsome

can someone please help me? i have a 3g which is running the 2.1 and is jailbroken. i am new to all this stuff and would like to update. is there a way to update and jailbreak the new fw but not lose my themes and stuff through cydia and winterboard? any help appreciated but remember i am a newbie to all this.
