ya the pwng guys haven't released winpwn 2.1 yet, its been like a month now i think!!!!

Just a Tip. But you can Jailbreak 2.1 on Windows.
You have to use QuickPwn.
Its not that complicated.

So I don't mistakenly update my jailbroken 2.1 firmware. How do I disable itunes from auto updating, or will it always prompt me before downloading and installing any updates.

it'll prompt you but won't automatically update until you tell it to.

It will always prompt you to download and install it or to simply just download it.

I'm sorry, but i find it really funny to see you people say "OH NO NO, don't upgrade until teh great dev team has brought the jailbreak!!". You all seem to like to call a lot of people apple fanboys.. it looks to me like you're dev team fanboys. I upgraded to 2.2 today from my jailbroken 1.1.4.. Just been wanting to upgrade for so long.. finally did it today.. Cant wait for the ability to jailbreak my phone on 2.2..

I was reading Dev Teams blog and stumbled across Rip Devs blog Pusher: Your 2.2 jailbreak - RiP Dev they talk about a new kind of jailbreak for 2.2 firmware

Just updated to 2.2 all paid apps working but cracked apps not working. Used PUSH to jailbreak and everything is working again but only installer no cydia.
