Ok, maybe I just don't get it

Or, maybe I'm too used to buying technology the minute it hits the shelf regardless of the price and then seeing it repriced 60-90 days later. I just consider the premium I pay the price of having the newest toys immediately. Every phone I've bought, from my ancient StarTac to the iPhone has come out at a premium and then had the prie reduced within a short period of time. Instant gratification is not without it's costs

As for ringtones costing $2.00... Haven't browsed the AT&T Store or Verizon's Get it Now too often have we? iTunes isn't too far off the mark here. And you're getting the entire song plus the ringtone for that $2.00. Something neither AT&T or Verizon can say.

Nothing's changed, so why the outrage? This site is proof that there are other, cheaper, even if a bit more complicated, methods of getting your ringtones

For lowering the price so soon, I agree, now every stupid ***** who had a razr now is going to get an iPhone.

just got off the phone with one of the drones at apple customer relations after a 15 minute wait....apperently they have been flooded with hate calls about the price drop (reason for the 15 minute wait)....i left a "congratulations on your very bill gatesque move there stevie" "hope you know you've alienated your loyalest fans"
on the lighter side the drone spill the beans that theres rumors around apple that the bigwigs are already talking about something for the customers who purchased before the price drop... idont know if theres validity in what he said or if he was just blowing smoke up my *** so he wouldnt have to type anymore of my ranting.. either way take this with a grain of salt and dont hold your breath i think us apple geeks got screwed!!!!!!

I purchased some songs for ringtones on iTunes, grudgingly, and can't see how to turn it into ringtone. I see no icons depicting ringtones. Can anyone help.
