For those of you having trouble with it not showing names from your contacts,
go into the settings menu and change the setting for phone numbers, I checked the 10 from
the default and all my names showed up. I cant give more specific instructions because
I uninstalled the app.
Hope this helps.

twitter.com/dale1vMicrosoft owns the internet through Hotmail. The .HTML is short for Hotmail, so all .HTML files are MS files.

Since I text a lot and enjoy having a long history to look back on (especially with the g/f to prove her wrong) This application is worthless to me. The load times on the messages are horrible, I pressed on one of my contacts and let it sit there for 5 minutes + and ended up having to force quit the application.
If they can fix the loading of large conversations this would be awesome a nice alternative to the native sms app

To use this app for SMS -> does it count as SMS for ATT?

Installed this yesterday and used it all day. (Not paid for version). Then last night, was trying to SEND a text, but it just wouldn't go thru. .Signal all fine, just wouldn't send. So, i tried via native sms and it worked fine. So, I rebooted my iPhone and then it worked again, but after a couple texts, stopped, and only the native sms will send out.
I don't have intelliscreen or pysl or bitesms or any of that stuff installed. Is this what it is supposed to do when you are using the unpaid for version? Is this happening to anyone else??
I like it, and plan to buy it, but not if it is this buggy.

Ive been using it since yesterday, I paid the $4.95. I havent had any issues with it at all yet, I did a bunch of texting yesterday, and all is well.
Also Ive removed that default splash screen and replaced it with the Default loading screen from the Normal SMS program, now it feels just like it was part of the phone. So long, and thanks for all the fish

the free version only makes you wait 30 seconds on some of your of your text messages, about 20% says the info, whatever that means...and in order to change splash screen you have to use an SHH client like winSCP, and you would have to navigate to your applications folder, find mySMS.app and change the "Default.png" to whatever you wanted
same if you wanted to change your sms balloons/bubbles.
just put in your own "balloon_1.png" and "balloon_1.png" (i might be wrong about the correct filename for the balloons, but its something like that)

i think the only thing i like is sending contacts and background. The second bitesms gets backgrounds ill be happy! but ill hold on to this app just to send contacts (havent tried it yet idk if thats what it means yet) but it wont be a default like bite. Good work tho, its nice to see at least 3 landscape apps out there!

That was my first thought. BiteSMS works fine and it's free.
1) Install BiteSMS
2) Compose a new message, click the setup icon in the lower corner
3) Change the setting to Send Via Carrier (that's free)
-Using BiteSMS as the default app works great
-You can forward a message
(swipe finger left to right across message)
-You can type in landscape
Why would I want to pay for this new app? What does it do better?

its slow because you did not buy it. Some of you have to learn how to read. it said it in the little bubble note in begging of app when you started it..lol

I installed mysms, and can't say I liked it much. The layout was iffy, and the fact you have to pay to even see if it's less buggy then.
But thanks to this thread, I know I can use bitesms to send viacarrier so bitesms it is!
