i use biteSMS which i downloaded off installer i find it great. Its a free app which can be used in Landscape mode. You can buy biteSMS credits which are cheaper then sending sms from your server. In AU it works out for each message to be 10cents and when you buy over 50 credits you get bonus credits.

Please don't tell me you came on here to talk about biteSMS. I tried "bite" for not even a day. It did exactly what the title says, it BIT! The only pro is, you can type in landscape. Oh, and I'm in the US and pay about $0.0075 a message. So I took all the extra money I saved from not using biteSMS and bought MYSMS which fully supports landscape mode.

I'm still getting failed msgs. It's weird, some send really fast and some don't. I hope stability yes tweaked as this is turning out to be a great app.

yep yep, it will be on the new release. The dev said that it's pretty much only 1 day of work to implement it, but is going to have it on the new release with a new UI design.

Hi guys!

I really like this app. IMO its best features are the punctuation keys and onscreen delivery report on/off button.

I am wondering if you could tell us what is the default message validity period for delivery? I had some issues with messages not being delivered or delivered but not reported back to me as such...
It would be also cool if we could set that option in setting to

Some ideas: (never hurts to ask)
Adding a search through messages function in your app would also take it to another level

But what would really set it off would be if you went all out and add an additional keyboard that would let us insert emoticons and that the app would recognize them when we receive sms's containing them

Now, I received a message while trying to buy the app, that my payment was delayed. How long should I wait till I try again? I can see my PayPal account hasn't been charged yet (2days)...

Since moving to the 3G phone and upgrading to 2.2, I am seeing that my texts aren't all going thru. It shows on MY side they did, but people aren't getting them. Anyone else seeing this????

I'm still on 2.1 and noticed a similar thing.
I received a delivery report but my friend claims he didn't receive the text. Although he might be lying cause it was "give me back my money" type of text

I also noticed that sending long (200+ letters) messages to more than one user resulted in message being received by users but I haven't gotten delivery reports about that.
I will have to test this some more to see if it occurs again...

I looks like I'm spamming this thread ... sorry!

I retested sending long messages and yes when a message gets split into 2 or more sms you don't receive a delivery report.

2 more small things I noticed:
- when in conversation mode awaiting for a reply, the conversation doesn't get updated by itself when the new message arrives. I must press the small "sms" button in the upper left corner and enter the conversation again to see it.
- the screen doesn't light up when a new message arrives. But this maybe is a good thing as maybe you dont want everybody to see who is texting you. This way you can maintain your discretion.
Maybe making it an option to light up or not would be a good idea...

All my text are going thru (at least I think so) However when it option for to send tap Return twice to send option on. I love this feature however it makes a return in the text everytime I double tap it to send.
I never had this before in the other version.
