Finally SMS at its best with MySMS!!

Yup.. tried it all.. ( i don't use wifi much).. I'll wait til morning (after morning reboot) n see if it'll connect. I saw someone over at the mySMS forums stated the same thing.. could connect yesterday, but not today.. I just want to test out the "quick reply"... LOL

Ha! Just added the repo for Beta... And.... Just upgraded mySMS... Ok, now I'm ready to rock n roll n test this thing... I'll make sure I add any issues as I see them... (Still lovin the app!)

So far so good.. messages are going thru faster now it seems.. However, I can't get the Quick Reply to stay ON, nor can I get the hid auto preview to stay OFF. They keep switching.. Guess I'll wait for the next update..

~Ok, as I've mentioned before, I do NOT have the capability to use quik reply. Just doesn't work. Tried to turn off the hide SMS preview, but it ALWAYS reverts back to ON and quick reply just doesn't work.

~After using for a couple days now, I find that it is crashing much more, especially when my signal is rather low. Last night I had two rather large texts I was sending to two different people (directions) and since my service was maybe 2 bars, it crashed (again), had to reload it and retype everything. Don't know if it has something to do with poor servic (Signal strength), but when it's low it seems to crash more frequently.

~In sending multiple texts yesterday, no one said that they got the wrong text so that is a plus.. AND They are going thru a LOT faster than before!! Awesome!

~Has anyone had GOOD luck with the quick reply? I really would like that feature so that I dont have to kill a game or whatever just to answer a text and have to reload all over again...

Thanks Peakas... I realize it is a BETA version, thanks for letting me test it.. I hope this information helps in resolving issues! Keep up the good work!

I dont think quick reply has landscape...

THe others with problems, have you tried uninstalling mysms, then shhing into your phone and deleting the other mysms directories. It is in two other spots, then restart and reinstall and see if it fixes it.

I'm having absolutely zero issues with mysms. Everything including quickreply is working great. Got rid of ireal because of the conflict with it's quickreply with iblacklist. Great app!

I had no issues with MySMS either :/ That's the thing.. I got a replacement phone, now I can't register it with this phone. Would be stupid for me to have to buy the application again.

If you don't want your iRealSMS license, I'll be glad to take it off your hands, btw

@SKB875 Just email peakas and let them know that you have a new phone... When I got my3G, I tried the old reg number, and it wouldn't let me. I emailed them and they sent me a new key, no charge.

I did the update this morning, so I'm on 0.9.9 build 916. Everything works now, the only thing that sucks that I believe has been mentioned is the AUTOCORRECT doesn't work and I hate that..I type too fast and LOVE that feature... Once that is fixed, it will be damn near perfect...

I've noticed a few issues: When I had both quick reply and leave in memory enabled it does not give me the option to open mysms, and reply always take me to quickreply.

Also when i reply using quickreply whether leave in memory is on or off it does not show up in the message history.

Finally, when the program autocorrects a word that I put punctuation after it leaves the mispelled word and puts the corrected word after the period. The native sms will autocorrect the word automatically when i put a period and replace the mispelled word.

Anyone having these issues or now how to fix them?

This is only when you use the added keys on the top right, yes? The same thing happens to me, and gets annoying sometimes, especially when you're typing fast.

I've had an eye on this thread for a week or so and I have a few questions. I'm about to purchase this application though, by the looks of things, many are having troubles receiving their registration keys. Should I hold out for a while? What's the story? Is there a prefered way to purchase?

And another question.. will I be expected to pay again with each improvement?

I read somewhere that they will charge their current users for an update to 1.0
So if you buy now you will have to pay when the release it.
The current version is , what, 0.9.9. 916 So my guess is we'll see the 1.0 version very soon!

I'm holding of my purchase till then to save a couple of bucks.
The issue with payment was because they didn't have paypal, but i see now they do!

Just add another sub-button on .?123 button and have the basic emoticons to be sent as characters so other phones can recognize them and put their own picture when received.
