Finally SMS at its best with MySMS!!

Yep yep, that's what I love MySMS. It's so fun updating and seeing what's new. Updates are part of the enjoyment for me. It's like unwrapping a new present

While i love iRealSMS and its quick reply, i've always preferred the MySMS UI and it's been sped up a lot with recent updates. Unfortunately I never really had a choice between the two. The problem with MySMS is....I CANT PURCHASE A LICENSE! I can't believe the service the devs chose, I can't pay them because i only have "Free" email addresses (gmail, yahoo...etc). I've seen the dev post here (forgot his name) saying yes, they chose a bad service, but they have yet to do anything about it. I've tried contacting them but I've never gotten a response. I've never had any problem just buying an app before, do you guys not want my money? But oh well I guess i'll keep my 5 dollars and stick with iRealSMS.

Well, thx. But it didnīt really fix my problem mate. It just goes away if I donīt use the settings for "donīt show sms on screen". Sadly! I would be happy to be able to use that function too for sure.

love this program but lately it has been shutting down after immediately after sending a message....it does this randomly. For example, i send a message, hit send and then once the status bar if finished the program shuts down and doesnt send the message....wierd bc it never did this before.

I noticed if you completely remove the mysms directorys out of the phone ( uninstalling doesnt remove everything) there are two places that store mysms files, one is applications the other I cant remember at the moment, but doing this and then reinstalling the application really helps with its performance.

Pavel is a hard person to get in contact with through email, he said the servers have a lot of issues, but keep trying to email him and he will write back. He also has said that paypal payment should be comming soon, He realizes shareit sucks. I had the same payment issues as everyone.

If you remove MySMS and those files do you loose the messages?
PS I also notice it restarts sometimes when you press "send" sometimes messages go through, and sometimes not.
I noticed this cause I have delivery report ON.

I also noticed this version is beta. So I wouldn't judge them to hard.

I'll wait for my purchase until they release the all new version. Cause I heard they will charge for the upgrade and I would like to avoid that.

This just started happening to me too. I stopped using mySMS for a couple days just because it was getting more troublesome than anything...

mine has stopped lately....I am using mcleaner with mysms and i had the hide sms preview not active on mcleaner but active on mysms.....I changed them both to active and it seems to have stopped.....for now


To the creator: Ever thought about adding a option to have a signature for text messages?? I think it would be cool.....

yup, and numbers only work if they start with + instead of 0.

I really hope a new update fixes this.

Also the feature that iRealSMS has that would be really cool to add to MySMS would be the quick reply feature. I guess for now, my option would be to buy both, but that's pricey just for SMS

Even still, MySMS is my favourite SMS app.

I have a question about the price however. Where does 19% VAT come from? It's 15% in the UK last time I checked Also, it's price at $4.95, so when buying in Ģs, how come its Ģ4.45? The Ģ isn't that weak lol

i downloaded the iRealSMS program but wasnt aware that the demo version was so limited and i dont feel like paying for it right now so i uninstalled it but now i have a (-1) in the title when i open sms and a -1 over my icon on the springboard. how can i fix this?

A lot of people have this problem, You need to reinstall irealsms, go to the settings and turn it off as default sms client, then reuninstall it and restart the phone.

Try deleting all messages then doing what i mentioned about again, make sure they are deleted in the default app and in ireal.

turns out i just needed to delete the conversation in which i sent the message from the demo version of ireal. problem solved. thanks

WOW the newest version (0.9.3) is soooo badass, they did quick reply and DID IT RIGHT wow im jizzing...
my messages send super fast now and i am in love with their version of quickreply!

EDIT: one request i do have for MySMS devs is the following:
in quick reply, messages are automatically marked as read, even when the screen is locked.
I'm wondering if you could implement a button that says "mark as read"
this way you could look at a message and if you read it, mark it as read
if you dont look at the message, apps like intelliscreen will keep reminding you to read it...
or maybe some sort of reminder of your own in the app? but a small mark as read button is what i would prefer but i know you have to please the masses so just a suggestion, keep up the good work and hopefully your forum will be back soon?
