Screenshots of the new AppStore

The guys over at The BoyGenius Report have gotten ahold of screenshots of the new AppStore, which will be live with the 2.2 version of the iPhone firmware, rumored to be showing up here in the next week to 10 days.
We saw a screenshot earlier, but BGR has even more now.

Looks like AppStore will now be letting you sort within categories based on Top Paid, Top Free, and Release Date, a long overdue update. You'll also be able to see all the screenshots for each app while in AppStore instead of having to load up iTunes.

looks very nice. im pretty sure the pic with the aim stuff is displaying the option to show multiple screen shots of an app in the appstore now. very nice but what we really need is COPY AND PASTE!!!!!

its not really the issue of copy and paste. its more of an issue of customers asking for simple features that should be part of such a complex product. its more of a point of apple not giving its customers simple things they are asking for but instead improving things that arent important. i just use copy and paste as an example to show that apple is not paying attention to its customers requests for simple things. MMS would be another thing. what kind of phone DOESNT have mms? i actually have an ipod but i feel for those who are asking for mms. japanese emoji support but no mms? cmon you have to admit thats pretty lame... really

Nice. I like the improved AppStore (or what it will be).

Finally better sorting, because it really was getting to be just plain messy.

What app is that shot of with ALL THOSE MESSENGERS?

I usually use meebo.com but that looks pretty good.

Also, they should have incorporated price highest to lowest....

Well if you use Swirley MMS, they have it working with 2.x firmware, so if that is all you are waiting for, you might as well just upgrade...
