heres my problem i have an 1.1.4 otb with 4.6 bootloader
how do i do the downgrade to 3.9 or the ziphone 2.5 does the downgrade or i have to downgrade it after doing the process with 2.5?

I with ya, "the dirty one" and people like him are a definitly lamn. all i can say to those guys is sorry im going through midterms at a university that im not flunking out of because all i do is play online games and look for new ways to be a sarcastic @ss, and think I am brilliant because i may have a bit more knowlage in an area that can really in no way impact the world at all. Anyway, i'd rather ask a stupid question then skrew up MiPhone cause it's worth way to much to be a paper weight. $700 custom painted paper weight with an apple logo on it does me no good. Seems logical to ask questions

I jumped right on this and it DID NOT work for me. I used my PC, restored to 1.1.4, ran "Do it ALL" from ZiPhone 2.5

All seemed peachy, until I launched the MAIL app, which immediately closed itself. Could not add or delete accounts, etc. Restored again, ran "Do it ALL" again, same results. Tried again, and ZiPhone wouldn't finish. No my iPhone won't even restore in iTunes. Yikes!!!

Dragged it over to my mac, for the hell of it, and iTunes saw the phone, and seems to work fine. So, I guess in the end that the jailbreak, activate and unlock did work...but now the iPhone is dead to my PC. I don't much care, but my back-up is on the PC!!! contacts, calendar, notes, etc.

Just BEWARE!!!! This software is NOT foolproof. And as a fool, I should know.

you could have just searched the forums for mail.app keeps crashing or someting to that effect i had the same problem when i upgraded to 1.1.3 and theres an easy fix you just have to delete the mail settings folder somewhere and re add you accounts (do not delete application/mail.app)

Upgraded to 1.1.4 from 1.1.2 and it did work swiftly. My bootloader is still 4.9BL and not downgraded to 3.9BL like i was told. Phone is activated, jailbroken and unlocked. I'm using with t-mobile. However my bad luck, i didn't backup pictures,contacts and notes. Everything is cleaned and my phone is like brand new :S.
There is a strange problem happening, when I'm trying to connect with itunes, the itunes shows up my iphone but the area is coming blank. I'm going to post it here to u and let me know what is going on??

I restarted my computer, re-installed itunes but the same problem happening, now i cannot sync my iphone and hence i cannot listen to my music . Another worst thing is some installer applications are only supported till 1.1.3 and they cannot be installed. BSD system is not downloading properly so i'm stuck here and cannot get vital programs.
My suggestion to you guys who haven't down this, backup your things first before you do that!! you gonna lose everything then.

SMS notify doesn't vibrate every 15 seconds for me like it used to. As for summerboard it didnt change the theme at all. It restarts springboard after I make the changes but it doesn't keep them

Soldout, I think the real issue why people are flaming you is not because you asked a stupid question it is because you insulted Zibri's work by calling it "lamn ***** Ziphone blog link." Understand that to all us of are very grateful to Zibri for writing an awesome program that does all the jailbreak and unlocking for us automatically compared to the old days of having to do 10,000 steps manually and it would take forever! We are all appreciative of Zibri and the developers' hard work. And how much are they charging for their efforts? Zilch! So for someone like you to come along, benefitting from their genuises and insult part of their work by calling it lame, you outta be ashamed of yourself for doing that! In fact, I think you owe Zibri and the developers a humble apology!

But had you taken the other route and simply ask the crowd, "hey, how could I remove the Ziphone's blog link", I guarantee you people would be willing to help you out in a very kind and generous way.

There was a 1.1.3 YouTube fix which used a similar method over here.

Go into settings/general and tap reset all settings. I had the same problem when I jailbroke 1.1.3 and that solved it. Let us know if it works.

Hey, got a little problem here. After successfully restoring to 1.1.4 and using Ziphone 2.5 to jailbreak and unlock, my youtube doesn't work. I tried so many ways. I installed BSD then the youtube activation from i.unlock.no, restart the phone and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions? Should I install AppSupport Patch (1.1.4) from iclarified? What you guys think?

Another worst thing, I restarted my iphone and it turned into Ipod. Its not showing me any features whats so ever, I'm lost in desert and my itunes in not working. I need desperate help!!! I cannot restore even!

Yea I did it without restoring using iNdependence, nd almost bricked my fone. It just showed the emergency screen nd I musta tried a thousand things, but I ended up fixin it.
