Thanks for the compliment about being informative. That's what I was trying to be. All I said was "go thank the devs by donating to them". There's was no tone there nor was it intended. I wasn't aware there was a problem.

Did I flame you for asking something that is a basic feature of the iPhone and is explained when you install the firmware via iTunes and at apple.com? Yes. I understand you don't want to screw up your phone, but the webclip has nothing to do with ZiPhone or messing up your iPhone. Stop insulting people because they disagree with you. I am putting the kabash on this. Let's keep this pertaining to the brilliance of ZiPhone and questions relating to it.

got a problem with mine, sounds like the clinck sound on unlocking doesn't work, and also the feedback of the vibrator when i turn it on vibrate isn't there.

Has anyone been able to update, jailbreak & activate using 4.6BL?
and if yes, what is the baseband you end up with?

or at the moment, the only way to get to 1.1.4 is to downgrade the BL?

the "unlock sound" doesn't happen when your iPhone is in vibrate mode.

have you tried calling your iPhone to see if the vibrate works? If you don't have it at startup, but it still works for incoming calls, it's not a big deal..

This update went flawlessly for me. But I'm having one strange problem. I restored to 1.1.4 before using ziphone 2.5. Then restored all my settings using itunes.

Before this update I had webpages on the springboard I really didn't need and now I dont want. Everytime I delete them now, they come right back everytime I use installer or reboot my phone. Anyone have any suggestions?

Worked great for me. Was Jailbroken 1.1.3. Restored to 1.1.4 and Jailbroke. No unlock because i'm on at&t. Used the Windows version on XP

it doesn't make the sound even in non vibrate mode, and a discoverd aswell that, when chose a sound, the sms sounds i can't preview listen...i used too in 1.1.3

I now have an unlocked, jailbroken 1.1.4 iphone. How can I install the installer app?

try resetting your iPhone. General > Reset... that has helped some people in the past. if that still doesn't work, re-install installer. you've checked your wi-fi and it is working? do you get an error message?

When you use ZiPhone, it will be automatically added to your home screen.

that's odd. best advice i can offer is to restore your iPhone again and try the ZiPhone process again.

same thing as above. I would try restoring again, ZiPhone AND THEN put your stuff back on. Remember to Set Up as a new iPhone if you didn't do that originally.

Ooops! Thanks for pointing it out. I was so amazed by how fast this unlock/jailbreak process worked that I didn't see the installer app there.

Hold the icon until it wiggles. Note the little x in the corner. Tap it and it will delete.
