Middle-aged men are first in line...
Recent surveys by the Solutions Research Group suggest the average buyer of the iPhone will be a middle aged man with higher than average income. Makes sense to me. What about younger guys with higher-than-average income? Where's the love?.

That's me on everything except the income. Don't think teachers qualify for "higher than average" anything except grey hairs.

If everybody would please lower their Income a bit, that would make mine above average and then I'm first in line. How do they do their market research, by trial and error?

teenagers have much more expendable income that they ever have before. I expect some of my 12 year olds to show up in August with the iPhone in their pockets.
