Easily Turn Your Website into an iPhone App
[ame=http://www.vimeo.com/1980009]iPhone Application Generator Demo on Vimeo[/ame]
AppLoop has a neat service allowing you to turn your website into an iPhone app in as little as 2 minutes. It's pretty simple to do as shown in the video above. If you have a site and want it to turn it into an iPhone app and you have no idea what you're doing when it comes to programming this is an excellent option.
Features- Takes minutes to build.
- You don't need to know how to program.
- Appearance is fully controlled by you.
- Free.
- Analytics included.
- Cached data so people can use your app even when internet isn't available.
- Social networking like digg and twitter can be integrated.
- Saved/favorites options available within your app for users.
Want to give it a shot? Just head on over to the AppLoop site.

This is great! So it builds the program for you, ultimately avoiding apple's developer fee... then whats the next step? send it to apple for approval for the appstore?
Is there a point somewhere down the line here that I will end up paying apple to get my app into the app store? a completely free process would be AMAZING!
EDIT: Watched it again, they do all the submitting for you! unreal!!Last edited by skipper; 10-22-2008 at 06:49 AM.

This is great. Are ModMyi.com going to make an app. That would be great because on my older 2G iPhone this website takes forever to load! I think other sites like MacRumors should also get one of these RSS apps. It would be brilliant!!!

don't confuse yourself - it only converts RSS feeds
go to their website:
AppLoop - Mobile Application Services
and read a bit.
it only converts RSS feeds into iPhone application, not any website.
it's nice but not such a big deal :-)
