Pretty kewl app. Just some things I have noticed..
The sync is off
runs the bat slightly more than the iPhone movie app
This has great potential and I am sure over time this app will function great. Look foward to getting the next release.
Side note---Wouldnt it be nice to be able to view movie/java in Safari? Im just saying...lol

Plays Ok, OUt of Sync, waiting for VLC.
EDIT: Doesnt play most of my files, either black screen or very much out of sync and skips frames.

Wow this thread is harsh.
I'm sure it's a work in progress. I'm happy someone is trying to improve the horrendous codec support of the iPhone/iPod touch..
+1 to Mplayer

I used it and the wmv worked but it wasn't as good as I hoped. I'll wait for upgradesI would have my URL here so you could hear our music but apparently that's sig spam. WTF?
10-21-2008, 01:39 PM #38Playback issues
I'm pretty sure the app crashing and the poor frame rates are caused by excessive file sizes. I experienced the same problems, but all of my files exceeded 100 MB and were at a resolution of 720 x 480 or higher.
Although it would be awesome to have vlc ported with the ability to load subs and multiple audio sources.

how does this stack up against zodttd's vlc port?
