Wow, yeah this has been around for a bit. I feel bad for not sharing the news over a month ago when I found via a google search... I guess I assumed it was no good and that's why everyone was using WinSCP (for windows anyway).

Haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it handles larger transfers much faster than wifi.

Now? I have been using DiskAid for some months. I thought everybody knew about it. I guess I was wrong. It's a nice little tool.

You are doing something wrong my friend. You can access root (your iPhone must be jailbroken, of course, but I do think your iPhone is indeed jailbroken) and transferred files are not corrupted

If not jailbroken, no root access

According to the DiskAid website but it seems to not be consistent @ least with my iPhones...

On my winpwn'd 1.1.4, it can access both media and root files. While on a ZiPhoned 1.1.4, I can only access the media files...

Disk Aid

Yeah nice program I been using it for awhile now too, One thing that no one mentioned is the fact that Disk Aid can be used on iPhone/iTouch that are not Jailbroken..

It's just a file transfer tool, no more than that. But you can access root, as long as your iPhone is jailbroken. The only exception seems Ziphoned jailbreaks, which apparently don't work. Surprise, surprise....

meh, I'm happy with cyberduck and openSSH. It would drive me crazy having to tether my phone to the computer with a short cable that I had to pull out of the ac adapter in my room.

i agree. no wires is handy. however, transfering large cycorder files via wifi is a drag. if this is significantly faster, i might give it a try. anyone test them against eachother?
