Are Christian Republicans really that stupid? Have they spent too much time in the bible book (sorry, "The Bible") rather than the a real book? I live in San Francisco and I have suprisingly a lot of Christian Republicans friends. The funniest thing is that they all sound the same. They live 100 miles apart from each other, but say the exact same thing, have the exact same racist jokes and all have serious problems at home. Yet, they dress well and hide all their problems. They can at times make some of the most hateful statements I've ever heard then utter their Christian contraditory propoganda. The right-wing Christian church is obviously brainwashing them. Oh, and by the way these are the same guys that barely made it out of high school and none have graduated college. They are white or hispanic with the latter thinking their the former. What ever happened to separation of church and state? Apparantly, that does happen in a Christian church. I think ALL religions should be banned! It is cleary causing more problems than solving them.

you realize of course that at the same time you criticize "christians" over hateful statements that you yourself make the same type of statements by calling them "stupid" only for the sheer fact that you don't agree with them?

And banning something is the highest form of hate and bigotry (or fear thereof) known to man.

After all, you would only ban something that you find detestable and have such a loathing for that you can't stomach the thought of it existing in the same presence as you.

So while you ban religion, how about we ban music, and books, and why not people of particular color while we are at it. And we can also ban cars, and oil, and red meats, and cigarettes (wait... we already are...), and alcohol, and free speech, and so on and ad infinitum.

Seeing as how we are doing numbers and CAPS, i will continue on with the tradition.

This is what is known as a Rhetorical Question. Which means that to the person asking the question you already know the answer, or at least have it predefined in your mind to what the answer already is.

If i were to answer no, Christian Republicans aren't that Stupid, it still denotes that they are stupid.

If I were to answer yes, Christian Republicans are that Stupid, then it would still denote that they are stupid.

2. Yes you only ban something that you hate or find detestable, at least we can agree on that. However I was regarding your comment about how your friends make the most "hateful statements". While your friends make statements that may be hateful, you sir would adhere to action that is hateful in order to further what you would consider a "better world".

Which while you might not out and out have said that is the only reason for such an action to occur.

3. This one makes me laugh... "Banning anything else (other then religion) would be Un-American."

I'm sorry i needed to re-read that just to make sure you really did say that...

Religion killing for the sake of killing, while i agree is wrong, however you cannot destroy an idea or a religion without committing mass genocide.

Just because someone kills in the name of God, does not mean that they truly are acting on God's Behalf. There are a number of instances in history where people have started wars and done lots of things in the name of God, but i assure you, they did not act in any God that I would acknowledge. I can only say that their actions will be weighed some day and will probably found be wanting.

Religion has unfortunately become a justifiable excuse to place blame on something else other then ones own actions.

This is not the Way, and those that do are not part of anything good.

4. Propaganda is merely a means to advertise, and you are advertising your beliefs. Are your statements not what you believe and adhere too? Do you not live your life based upon whatever belief system you follow? I would be very hard pressed to understand how you could live your life without you doing your best to follow whatever it is that you believe, and feeling somewhat guilty when you would falter from that belief system.

But I have to wonder, why bring that up if in fact you were in fact you were trying to say that your friends weren't book smart. I don't really see the relevance to that?

Are you saying that they weren't "brainwashed" by a formal education system? But instead they were "brainwashed" by a religious institute? And that one form of brainwashing is better then the other.

Clearly in your comments, you have very little regard for religious organizations, but instead have a much deeper admiration for higher education institutions.
