What the iPhone doesn't have
Reviews are now coming out everywhere, and Gizmodo has a summation of what the iPhone doesn't have:
• Songs as Ringtones
• Games
• Any flash support
• Instant Messaging
• Picture messages (MMS)
• Video recording
• Voice recognition or voice dialing
• Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Streaming (A2DP)
• One-size-fits-all headset jack (May have to buy an adapter for certain headphones)
Stuff we already knew it didn't have
• 3G (EV-DO/HSDPA)
• GPS
• A real keyboard
• Removable battery
• Expandable Storage
• Direct iTunes Music Store Access (Over Wi-Fi or EDGE

iPhone has everything that I want.
I think we'll be continually surprised by what they add to it as software updates. They've already added youtube.
Games will be for sale on the iTunes store just like on the iPod (only my hunch).

And the nice thing, a lot of those can be added via firmware updates. Some may be able to that we don't know about - we aren't aware of the actual hardware in these things yet!

Yep, it might have a lot of capabilities that just aren't functional yet but are already built in and ready to go.
But the list is a bit daunting. There's alot of things on that list that I would like the iPhone to do but I suppose you can't get everything in the first shot. If they sell truckloads of them and get their 1% market share then I think they'll open 'er up and add all kinds of you know what for furture version (they gotta see how well it does, or doesn't, first).Cheers,

I'm still stoked for it. Some of the things on that list are solely for the haters to latch onto, though-- Flash, for example. Cripes, I have a 1.5Ghz, 512RAM powerbook, and Flash slows IT down. How the hell does anyone expect a phone to be smooth with it?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to Apple's updates. ...and the mods we can do

iPhone 5, 2012 & no NFC!!!
I was really expecting this. Probably wait for 5S while I still make do & wait with my iPhone 4.
Hurry up Apple I don't mind paying £20 or so on top of a penny less £700. Thank you very much! 😜
