How do I set this up ?
I have 3G on AT&T so, I installed pdanet from Cydia and turned my wifi settings on. When I go to iMac desktop and search for wifi which wifi is from my phone ?
NVM guys, i just figured it out. OMG its so freaking fast.
Correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I did:
Went to my iMac and created a new connection naming it "SKYCLUB". Then I went on and turned WiFi on on my iPhone. After this I opened up pdanet and it searched for network and in a split second my iMac was connected on SKYCLUB.
Am I right
Can anyone confirm if this is "illegal" to do ? Will I get charged extra ? I mean, why would I. I'm using my iPhone existing 3G plan that I pay $30 for it ?

@bunny.... At&T just announced a $30/mo tethering option. So yes it's illegal for AT&T customers. For many others (T-Mobile for example) it's legal.

I'm paying $30 for my 3G data plan. No way will I pay $30 on top of my data plan ..unless they have option to block pdanet or something...I don't see how AT&T can make any profit from their tethering ? Not eveyone knows how to jailbreak a phone but still
