I'd love to be able to use my iPhone as a wireless adapter for the 360. just connect with the USB and hit off of an available wireless network...does anyone know if something like this could be developed or if there is something out there that might accomplish this?

For us Canadian 3G owners with FIDO, tethering IS allowed. I would assume the same applies for Rogers since they own FIDO!

Hello,

Do I have to have itunes installed on my laptop in order for this to work....I currently have 2 laptops and 1 has itunes on it and the other 1 don't. I prefer to use the one that does not have itunes on it.

PDAnet is great! I use it to tether a 2G 1.1.4 to a 3G 2.1 - finally enjoying OrbLive for live TV on iphone over 3G.
Haven't tried this with the other tethering methods, anyone know if those also do iPhone to iPhone?

Why would you want a plan for tethering, when you cn do it already for the regular cost that you've been paying already?

How do I set this up ?

I have 3G on AT&T so, I installed pdanet from Cydia and turned my wifi settings on. When I go to iMac desktop and search for wifi which wifi is from my phone ?

NVM guys, i just figured it out. OMG its so freaking fast.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I did:

Went to my iMac and created a new connection naming it "SKYCLUB". Then I went on and turned WiFi on on my iPhone. After this I opened up pdanet and it searched for network and in a split second my iMac was connected on SKYCLUB.

Am I right

Can anyone confirm if this is "illegal" to do ? Will I get charged extra ? I mean, why would I. I'm using my iPhone existing 3G plan that I pay $30 for it ?

@bunny.... At&T just announced a $30/mo tethering option. So yes it's illegal for AT&T customers. For many others (T-Mobile for example) it's legal.
