New Installer 4.0b8!

quick question..iv always had ssh but for some reason when the frozen start up logo comes on I can never ssh into it to try the watchdog method..is there a certain way to do it or is it just normal ssh'n?? I'd like to try that sometime Cus I c a drunkn moment when I use installer n f my phone up in the future.. I'm just a hard core installer guy iv always used it n will stick with them for a while..they have made me a proud iPhone owner from day 1. I can't wait for a perfect bug free installer version

By the way I got ***** from a hot blond once cus I showed her how to jailbreak and install installer on her 1.1.2 1st gen. That might be another reason y I love installer so much haha

Cydia Rules! Although I wish Installer would be as good as Cydia so everyone would be happy. But atm, It's just not up to speed.

There is no reason to have two repository managers for the iPhone. I could see if there were multiple OS's on the phones, but that is not the case. Ripdev should really put their time towards something more beneficial for the community.

Cydia is where it is at. On my next Pwn Installer will removed.

This thread is very comical... someone should dig through the history and find all the "Installer Rules! Cydia sucks!" threads... or "OMG I have to use Cydia now?? Where's installer!!?" threads. It's almost like I'm following the election, lol.

Thanks RipDev for updating installer and giving me the spinning wheel of death. Now after I have restored (not being able to SSH or knowing of the phoneBrowser method) I'm now going to have to reinstall all my cydia apps, load all my music on again and configure my phone how I like it. Only 2 days after I'd done all that after going to the latest firmware

I installed the latest version, no problems. There just seems to be nothing on installer like there used to. That is why cydia is better, however, I think if installer had all those apps people would use it.

there is some serious noobness in these threads!!!!if i remember 6months ago all of u's where using installer..and wanted installer on 2.0...they provide u with it,,and yet it still not good enough...lmao...sounds kinda kiddish!!!!!!!eh?
just use both package managers..there both buggy,,none are perfect,,even appstore has is day of doom on meh iphone!!!!

I played around with it a bit and found that I had to link more repositories to it. It had a couple of things that I liked, but I prefer Cydia which seems to have a dev that doesn't mind putting forth the effort to make it better and better.
