Your song list? You mean in Itunes? If thats it, all apple approved stuff will sync back to the phone normally.

haha to be honest im a little afraid ill brick my iphone. this is my second time pwning, and i have no idea how to restore the phone if something goes wrong... i understand i have to enter DFU mode (or something), and itunes should do the restoring?

If something happens, yeah enter DFU mode (easy):

Connect to Itunes, power off iphone.
Hold power button 5 seconds.
Without releasing power button, now hold home button 10 seconds.
Release power button, continue to hold home button until Itunes recognizes phone (10-20 sec).

Restore.

I restored to a clean 2.1 FW using DFU mode and then I ran Quickpwn without any problems whatsoever. I do miss being able to make your own boot logos however....

Yeah, if you have downloaded it from Itunes then quickpwn should automatically find it for you. It will let you know on the screen.

the only problem is that we can't have the partitio size at our choice

Maybe it me, but installer 4 seem not working with this, I tried to install some app, all ok from the installer4 side, but it not actully install it, reboot and a like, nothing, no icons.

I ssh, and nothing in application folder as well.

Cydia working ok, again, it could be me only, i am just reporting here.

yea when the phone first boots up bootnueter runs then says restarting

its still asking me to hook it up to itunes! saying different sim

It "should" have asked you whether or not you wanted to activate the phone. Did it not?

I havent tried it with my 2g yet, so I dont have any testing on that.

So I have seen success stories so far with some people, what's the most effective method we have seen? I went from a jailbroken 2.0.2 to unjailbroke 2.1 and currently have apps on my phone. Should I just quickpwn or I have seen suggestions on actually doing a clean restore first. Suggestions?

Also, anyone who has had success, does winterboard work on 2.1?

then when i put a differ sim in it says different Sim detected please connect to itunes!
