We haz Windows Quickpwn 2.1!!!

The old versions of quickpwn caused my iPhone to not boot up at the end of the process of jailbreaking it, ie, just stuck on Apple logo and vibrating every so often.
I figured out it was due to App Store apps being installed on the iPhone, but when ran quickpwn on a freshly restored iPhone, no problems at all except Cydia to only give me ALOD 5 mins later.
So will quickpwn work on 2.1 on 2G iPhone with apps from app store on the iPhone, I have about 30+ apps lol?

It was just released, so dont know. Anybody? Post your findings. I too always pwn from a newly restored phone.

excellent! better late than never. I jailbroke the hard was a few days ago via shiftrestore to the custom firmware.

I have a few friends that are on 2.0.2 with lots of apps. I too am curious if they finally fixed QuickPwn so it doesnt need to be done on a fresh phone. Please post your findings !

Noob question: but, does quickpwn only work with a fresh iphone (unjailbroken)? cause mine is jailbroken at 2.02 also... cant i just update to official 2.1 then quickpwn it with 3G firmware?

so now that i have a JB 3g 2.1 how do i get apps and anything off the computer to the phone? and or to change all the cool things.

Check some guide man, there are PLENTY of them!

your going to have to download ssh, and winterboard if you want customized themes i believe. Also, you can go into Cydia or Installer, and choose various applications to install.

so im new to the quickpwn thing, i have a 2g running 2.0.1 firmware with tmoibile .. couple questions.. if i install this will i keep my cyndia installer apps? is this possible? andhow dos one go about installing it?

I hope that is fixed in quickpwn otherwise I'm going to end up restoring from backup either way with winpwn or quickpwn.
Or I might just hold off jailbreaking until every app on Cydia is on Installer. Don't like Cydia yet, I will when those ridiculous installing/uninstallng time are fixed, wait upto an hour to get back to homescreen is just stupid, I miss Installer but prefer Cydia's icon lol. Oh yeah an until Cydia stops giving people the ALOD.

Should I upgrade the firmware and pwned it???

Do I need to delete the previous version of Winpwn (2.5 Beta) and then install Winpwn 3.0? Does it upgrade? Is it safe to have both on my desktop.

I have an unlocked / jb 2.0.2 currently and I plan to restore in itunes first, then winpwn. I'll sync and download everything again via Cydia. I don't mind that. Since intelliscreen, swirly, and snapture are all tied to my serial number, I can easily retrieve the licenses again. I didn't have much else.

SO much for my excitement.... I let iTunes 8 upgrade my 2.0.2 3G quickpwn'd phone to 2.1, and now I have a apple logo and a double vibrate every 5 seconds... then after about 5 minutes, it reboots itself... and starts the same thing all over again.
No idea what to do...... I havn't even gotten to the QuickPwn stage yet!

Update: Ran QucikPwn anyway, it completed "succesfully" now I have the pineapple and a double vibe every 5 seconds... &^#%@ my phone was fun while it lasted!

Any advice? meanwhile my business is closed!!!

I would run a clean restore in Itunes again. Place the phone into DFU mode to do this.

Then repwn.
