Hi, just paste what I saw from "Orange" (FR prov) ! :

-- Update 2 (this would be the correct name, not 1.1.4), will bring new features:
* Support for Flash, files with extension .Docx
* Adding a mini file manager
* Adding a "clipboard" to manage copied and pasted text, and send files to the clipboard via email or bluetooth
* iClips Management (is this the name of apps distributed via iTunes?)
* A more complete bluetooth manager
* iChat accessible only via wifi

-- But it would not bring:
* Management of MMS
* Video capture
* Editing of office files

Exchange is still not fully support - no update there


Flash isn't supported either


You can Jailbreak the new update using Ziphone but you cannot activate it, so if you have an unlocked iphone do not update. Also the jailbreak has been confirmed on 8gb only

I don't think so... Checkin it out when I get home. GAHH 33 minutes is too long to wait!

Zibri at Ziphone.org (as well as Erica Sadun on Tuaw.com) have said that it WILL work with 1.1.4, but he's urging people NOT to do it until he can check to see that it doesn't screw anything up.

From what I can tell...

ZiPhone works with 1.1.4 BUT it will not activate. So if you are jailbroken and have no need to unlock, go ahead and update (you WILL lose all third party apps, but you can reinstall). If you are unlocked, sit tight at 1.1.3 for the time being. ZiPhone will be updated before long

Updated my ipod. I can say that nothing has changed...
The only thing I noticed was that podcasts are now correctly reading different pictures on different chapters. But other than that nothing else seems to have changed.

I think it is just a folder that was added. I can find anyway to make to dos other than to email them to myself and move them to the new "Apple Mail ToDo" folder

Just noticed that skipping to a specific part of a song or video is now very smooth. Before especially in videos there was a long pause and then the playback resumed. Now the pause is extremely short.

How stupid am I??? I updated thinking the ziphone will still work and that I had nothing to lost cos' i could restore it back to 1.1.3. Well!!!! ziphone doesn't work and now I can't restore it back. I keep getting an error: "the iphone could not be restored. An unknown error occured (1015)". Any help please?????????

Try to restore the iPhone twice...do not mind the error message. After that, try to use iBrickr to fix the phone.

This process actually worked for me when I did an update to 1.1.3 and then went back to 1.1.1!.
