IN CASE YOU UPGRADED TO 1.1.4 with baseband 04.04.05:
This is how I downgraded the baseband and tried it many times before I share it to you guys.
1. I downgraded my firmware to 1.0.2 >> then Activated and Jailbreak it using ZiPhone (Dont use iBrickr) you will be stuck.
2. Once your 1.0.2 is Activated and Jailbroken by ZiPhone you will see that your baseband now is 04.03.13_G.
3. Then restore your iPhone to firmware 1.1.3 >> then Activate and Jailbreak it again using Ziphone. After this your iPhone is now back and working at 1.1.3 with the baseband of 04.03.13_G.
Goodluck!!! I am not liable for anything I am just sharing my downgrading experience to all of you....

How to Jailbreak 1.1.4 and Unlock on Windows!!!
I can confirm the jailbreak working on 1.1.4.
1. Update to 1.1.4 through iTunes.
2. Download ZiPhone from here.
3. Once you're phone/iPod (I have done both!) are updated, open ZiPhone.
4. Click on the jailbreak button. My phone was already activated and is AT&T. If your's isn't one of those requirements then you have to wait a few days.
5. Now wait! It takes about 10 seconds to jailbreak it. You see what is happening on the screen so that's pretty cool.
6. (Optional) There is a file on Installer called "Unlock (1.1.4)" that let's you unlock the phone as long as it's on 3.9 BL.
Another thing. I did this on a Windows.

Something very wrong happened. I accidently upgraded to 1.1.4 on my iPod Touch so I decided to run the ziPhone software to rejailbreak it. In the ziPhone GUI I chose the 3rd option "Jailbreak: ipod Supported".
It started running and the screen on my touch started scrolling through a bunch of text till it finally stopped on this: "BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0". It repeats itself over and over about every 15 seconds. I've tried restarting and it just runs back into the same problem.
Please help, I really hope I haven't done any permanent damage

Is there a new user name and password for 1.14?
I can't connect.
Or is SSH just not working yet for 1.14

Tried with Win XP and a 1.1.2 OOB iPhone.
I restored my iPhone with iTunes to 1.1.4
then I downloaded this: http://rapidshare.com/files/95650915/ZiPhone-1.1.4.zip
extract the file to your harddrive.
Open the prompt on your computer and change to the above extracted file.
Run it with ziphone -a -j
Then when ziphone finished its work,
open installer on your iPhone,
install BSD Subsystem and openSSH,
finally install Unlock 1.1.4(iClarified source)
make sure your autolock is set to NEVER before doing this.
This works for 3.9BL iPhones only.
The unlock 1.1.4 still remains after restoring again to 1.1.4(I tried this because I wanted to know).

My iPhone has 1.1.3 jailbroken. I just used Ziphone as you suggested and it worked flawlessly. Thanks

should work without any problems.
Make sure you have BSD subsystem and openSSH installed, check your iPhones IP and connect via WINScp as usual.
Keep in mind that the first login takes about 30- 45 secs!
Hope that helps you.

to get summerboard to work on 1.1.4:
download the 1.1.4 patchfile through installer
then download the 1.1.3 version of summerboard
then restart phone as nessisary
02-29-2008, 10:20 AM #317upgraded.. apps are gone but still in installer.app
I upgraded with no problems last night, and then used ziphone to jailbreak it only since i am an AT&T subscriber. After jailbreaking it and going into installer i see all my previously installed apps under uninstall but they do not show up on the springboard. Trying to unistall summerboard i get an error. Phone itself has been working great. No changes that i have noticed.
