This makes the recipient have to go to a website to look at the picture...basically viewmymessage.com for everyone

Nothing beats Swirly's MMS app. I'm waiting for the 2.0 version.

Downloaded. Deleted. Waiting for Swirly. Why do devs even try to pass this crap off onto us? Lord, I guess there are enough idjits out there with iPhones that it'll work out for them.
Sigh.
OneRing2RuleIf I've helped you or even just made you laugh, hit Thanks. Every time you do, an iPhone gets jailbroken. FREE THE iPHONES!!!

well it's a step in the right direction. Hopefully they improve on it or Apple gets a clue and adds MMS like they should have from the begining

Every time I want to send a message it tells me:
INCOMPLETE MESSAGE
You must include before this message is sent.
Deleted the program. Still trying to figure out what it means. Anybody else got an idea?

Apology here from developer. He admits to being caught with his pants down as it's not supposed to go live till Monday and even then US only. Apple have sprung a worldwide release on him early.
Credit where credits due for the developer to come explain himself. He also states true MMS is a possibility, but not as a free service.

I fail to understand why MMS matters. Can't you just send an email?
I write Mac only tutorials for the iPhone and own every model. My iPhones run on the following SIMs/networks: AT&T, GoPhone, H2O, O2, SimpleMobile, T-Mobile and Verizon.

How bout /receiving/?
Try as I might, I can't get every person in my contact list to remember to send picture messages to my email rather than phone number.
Also, MMS is great for those folks who can't get email on their phones (ack, yes, they do still exist
) - sometimes you just want a quick image share, and I don't want to go through and store 300 [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] etc emails for all their phones. Like I know what carrier all my friends are on (well, almost, heh).
I will agree though that emailing the image suffices (and is superior, in fact), in most cases.

I guess I have too many contacts. (1200+) It sucks that you enter the recipient by name. Since this app makes you scroll through your entire list, by the time I finger scroll through half way down, the app totally crashes/exits every time. (lame!) This is NOT easy to use at all, not impressed!
