what was all this about intelliscreen and updating to 2.1?

i have/had intelliscreen on 2.02 and currently updating.. but someone wrote i would see the circle of death if it was installed during update..

someone fill me in please..

also, do i HAVE to be JB to use intelliscreen?

yes you have to be jailbroken to use intelliscreen and by upgrading to 2.1 intelliscreen would be erased from your phone, so not about what the other person was saying

ok i tried updating my 2g iphone jailbroken and unlocked to 2.1 and now i got the phone stucked in the apple logo and vibrating every 1 minute, any other solution besides restore? i dont want to restore, please help?

my itunes wouldnt download the update fully so i got it from this thread and used shift restore option and all is working..

phone seems to have had 1gb of ram added or something.. haha..

from previous posts, it seems like a problem caused by a restored backup. you will need to restore your phone and set it up as new

F.Y.I. guys... I upgraded the phone from 1.1.4 to 2.1 and it got locked ... bummer

I tried #3001#12345#, and I get an overlay with the progress spinner, then an error that says "Error performing request No Network Service" and a "Dismiss" button.

3G 8gig on AT&T, and still on 2.0.2 & Quickpwn... not upgrading till Quickpwn for 2.1 is released.

I had my camera app hiden in boss prefs since I was using snapture now I have no camera LOL...

Any ideas besides a full restore?
