We'll be able to drag and drop (import) dtunes mp3 downloads right into itunes after a few more tweaks. (see thread)

this is great! it sure beats the old sendfile and download plugins. The media player is far better as well.
I would have my URL here so you could hear our music but apparently that's sig spam. WTF?

Lol, yeah I sent the upgrade about 24 hours ago and there's already over 21,000 downloads - pretty crazy.
There's actually more news on the next release on my website:
iPhone Apps
Check it out.

This app kix azz... I have been having a ball downloading all the single songs ive always wanted... I SSH them into my computer and import them into iTunes.
The update is also great, but one thing thats still missing is a cache or something for the search results. Its such a pain to have to do the same search over and over from the beginning for the same band, if your going to download a few songs.
I am going to donate (1st time) in the hopes that it may help motivate you to incorporate this function!

is there no solution to have dtunes songs imported straight to the ipod library on the iphone??
it kinda defeats the purpose if you have to ssh songs to the computer import into itunes then back to your phone. might as well use limewire or acquisition. need a way to add them to ipod library on the go.
any have a solution?

Naw, I think not. If you don't like the SSH thingie, play 'em in dTunes.
There will be updates ... some may address your ideas. But I'm concerned if it's tooooo easy, it will become a target
. The real benefit is searching and getting a song to your *P* quickly and easily. What you do with it afterwards is non-consequential.

Found a site, Plorf.com with direct mp3 links,
problem is, the download link is sent through a php script,
making it useless on the iPhone. (as far as I can tell.)
Would love to see the option to have multiple bookmarked sites.

I think that the only thing that would make this better is if it woud sync the music to the iPod application...if any one knows how to do that left me no
