its not in the dTunes app (it just shows mp3). and i also looked at cycorder.

Just use mxtube for video downloads, it works just as good if not better. Just look in Cydia under featured apps.

seeqpod hasn't been sued (edit: it has, time warner, technically seeqpod isn't in the wrong.) because it's a search engine, and that's it. None of the content is ever hosted on their servers. Nice little legal conundrum for big record companies.
What they'd have to do is hunt down all those blogs hosting all those individual mp3's, and shut those down. Personally, I don't see that being feasible for them.

Its a great app, syncing would be cool. But hey we cant be picky, also I read somewhere apple has increased security or something on the library so i'm not sure how easy it would be. Oh if you cant see it in changes, search for it. Thats what happened to me, didnt show up but when I searched for it, it did. Happened with other stuff as well.

Hey guys,

I'm the author. Nice to see all the feedback on the app.

As ringman mentioned this app was basically put together over the course of a day so I know it doesn't have many features. It was really just a concept to suit the requirements ringman posted in a forum post.

If there is enough response then I might make a few changes.

To be honest I wasn't at all sure of the legalities of the app. I guess if it comes down to it then i'll remove the access to seeqpod and just leave the music player with the ability for users to select a folder to play mp3 files. I don't think this would cause too many problems if I can keep the music playing after returning to the homepage.

I have only just posted that it's available on my website and it already has over 15,000 downloads.
