well I had to figure it out and I just got stuck with the 2.0.2 and I used QUICKPWN and jailbroke it!
i thing that this a great way to do your inlock if it didn't worked!

its a complete erase(format) like if you wanted to sell it to someone and didnt want them to get any personal info!

and also something that sucks from QUICKPWN is that you cant have your desired root partition size

so if i say no , this will do a quickpwn?

cuz i keep my phone i want to jailbreak it , so i don't care if it erases all my data but i want to do a real pwn not the quickpwn

it will only do a quickpwn if you have it selected to do that! in the right hand side of the window where it says custom if you click that it will choose quickpwn you want to leave it at custom!

may be I don't know it is part of it ,
you put the custom ipsw file on the iPhone and then to finish you use the QUICKPWN option(doesn't work)

winpwn crashes on me 3/4 of the way while creating custom ispw file...if you need some more info from my comp to help with the debug i dont mind helping if i can.

ive been waiting for so long =/ this sucks.

this happened to me as well 5 times... but i shut the comp down, let it cool, ate some devil dogs... gave it another try except i went into task manager closed all itunes related processes and anything else running in the background that would use memory. tried it again and presto!!!! now this new screen comes up on the iphone stating its ready to be restored with custom ispw. only prob i had was when choosing a custom boot screen it didnt have any come up like usual when u choose to search online... so i used my own resized images

I was wondering two things.

1. if I WinPwn 2.5 the phone will I lose all of the programs and themes I installed after I jailbroke my 2.0.1 phone?

and

2. do I install 2.0.2 through itunes or do I just use the 2.0.2 stok ipsw file to create my custom ipsw adn just loa that onto my phone.

u can't change root size with quickpwn

u can with winpwn 2.5 but dont select quickpwn.

I think I 'll go back to 2.0.1 and have all mi stuff normal an also wait for a newer version of winpwn that I expect to have better things like the root partitioner!

Yea with winpwn 2.5 you can! when it asks you if you want to change thew root size! go to sleepers.net for directions thats bigboss's website!
