NOTE: When this was written, 1.1.3 was the current firmware version. This does NOT work with 1.1.4 yet. Wait for a 1.1.4 solution if you're already on 1.1.4.

Nope, its a ZiPhone issue. From ijailbreak:

This update has re-ensured PowerPC compatibility for those running Tiger or Leopard. If you're running any other version of Mac OS X, iJailBreak will not work.

So if you're using anysim 1.1.3 to unlock your iphone you DONT need to put it in airplane mode right? Or did u forget to put it in the guide?

so I have anysim and clicked the red "OK" button, however, after about 10 minutes or so still no status bar or indication that the unlock is running. I do notice that the screen is frozen (i.e. doesnt scroll up or down). Any suggestions?

Im having the same problem - the screen just freezes and no progress bar or any other message - is this an issue with the anysim program ?

using winscp (after installing open ssh via installer) and tried again and anysim ran like it should "

Question:
The guide states "DO NOT tick the "Unlock (and repair)" box if your iPhone has the 3.9 boot loader."

But as of Ziphone 1.2 the notes say "It now unlocks both 4.6 and 3.9 BL."

I see conflicting information on this but no one says why its bad to use ziphone to unlock 3.9 phones... please explain.

I cant seem to download BSD Subsystem - it keeps giving me and error saying not able to download package - what do I do ?

Refresh your sources on installer , restart your iphone , and clear queue , then try again

Just close anySim1.1.3 if its frozen and restart your iphone and run anySIM again... it worked on my 2 iphones

this method works 110% for me bt on my t mobile its not reciev any calls outgoing and internet is working fine even sms and one thing how to use it with ibrickr for exploring bcz it says iphone is nt jailbroken thanks

To start off, I have read through all articles and comments pertaining to these new developments and I am confident that this question in particular has not been asked before so here goes...

I am currently running a jailbroken, activated, and sim unlocked 1.1.3 iPhone. I used Nate Tru's method of activating 1.1.3 and so my question is...

1) is it worth it for me to restore my photo using iTUnes to 1.1.3 and then jailbreak and activate using this method.

2) before I go through this procedure, do I need to virginize my baseband, or will the phone remain sim unlocked after restoring to default 1.1.3

Hi

Under 1.1.2 there's an application iWorld available (1.1.2 Tweaks section in Installer) which is needed to be able to use the phone part in non-supported countries.

What's the situation for 1.1.3 here? I don't see iWorld in "1.1.3 Tweaks". Is this no longer needed or just not available at the moment?
