Default Just For Fun - MMi Cydia Repo Stats Revamped

Cydia (the 3rd party, open source AppStore alternative) is incredibly popular, even more so in 2.x with the vast improvements saurik (Jay Freeman) has made to it.

We've spent the last few days revamping our stats handling for the MMi Cydia repo. Just for kicks, feel free to check them out at apt.modmyrepo.com. They even look cool on your iPhone.

Where'd you get the black theme?

    keatonreckard

That black theme is called MonoChrome and you can download it via Cydia...it's by far the best looking one out there and it's a whole revamp for your iPhone!

What did you use to put stats on the repo? I was wondering because I wanted to use something like that to show more complex depictions on my packages...

We use a custom script. Its easy enough to Google for PHP counters if you're looking for one!

How would the php counter distinguish between the user clicking the package, and the user clicking install???

How could I get Cydia to download a .deb file, and also add 1 to a text file, if cydia first goes to this url, for example:

    cydia.cgi/file.deb
