The new release (2.0) is for both 3.9 & 4.6 bootloaders. It has the option of downgrading your bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9 and automatically flash your baseband to 4.03 so the Locate Me feature works.

Hi all just a little confused. I have a Unlocked, jailbroke and activated 1.1.2 phone. I want to upgrade to 1.1.3 can I do all this Ziphone? And can some post the steps to doing it?

I have an OTB 1.1.2 phone, which was activated, jailbraked and unlocked via the "sim card" method, for some reason an update was done when 1.1.3 came out, it has been "bricked" ever since, is there a way to fix it with this software (ZiPhone)?

i can't get the phone to do anything though...all it shows is the white apple logo and it won't go away, no matter if i turn it off then on again or anything...somebody please help me, all i was trying to do was get a better jailbreak as advised by cash

once the phone is jailbroken you dont need to rejailbreak unless you restore the phone use ibrick or indepence to boot up see if that helps

AGENTcrf250 if u want 1.1.3 i would suggest u upgrade it by going into installer then install 1.1.3 soft upgrade by dev team then use -u command with the unlock files shown earlier in the new posts

1. disconnect your phone from your computer

2. simply turn the phone off [hold top and home button until phone shuts off]

3. hold the home button and connect the phone to the computer [while still holding the home button]

4. restore screen should come up and you're good to go.

Does the option Unlock (and repair) also downgrades the BL4.6 to BL3.9 (argument -b) ?
Or does it just unlock?

be warned, the gui for windows DOES NOT WORK! it is easy to fix the apple logo, just look to kamil and thank him.

i have a jailbreak OTB 1.1.2 unlocked with Geounlock (gunlock) method.

i'm planning to update it to 1.1.3.

can i update to 1.1.3 with iTunes and then use the Ziphone to jailbreak it and unlock it? or iTunes will not update the unlocked Baseband?

Can I download this to my pc? I have windows XP, and I know it says Apple OS X but is there a version for windows?

this is how to do ziphone in windows correctly, the gui is broken so you have to use command line

another quick tut. this has worked for me.


1. download the rar package, extract it to your c drive.

2. go into command prompt [just go to run, type in cmd]

3. type in cd C [dont forget the slash or it'll take you to the usersr/username]

4. now your screen should look like this "C>"

5. type in 'cd ziphone' [without quotes, as usual]

6. type in "ziphone" with the letter of action you want to preform [ '-j for jailbreak, -u for unlock ...you get the idea]

7. DONT PRESS ENTER YET>>> PUT A -v at the end of the line, so it should look like this if you're jailbeaking for example.

ex.

Cziphone>ziphone -j -v

8. watch the magic happen. enjoy

i need some help who could help me do this i have 3 iphones:

1) 3.9 BL unlock official soft upgrade 1.1.3 and want to upgrade to 1.1.3 via itunes and use ziphone.

2) 3.9 BL 1.1.2 unlocked updated with oktoprep and want to upgrade to 1.1.3 via itunes and use ziphone.

#) 1.1.2 4.6 BL OTB unlocked by geohot and want to upgrade to 1.1.3 via itunes and use ziphone.

What can i do please help me!!!!!
