My iPhone is OTB 1.1.2, obviously BL4.6, if I restore my phone to 1.1.3 ( it is JB via Nate True) would that be ok? I'd hate to sound n00bish, I'm just very curious, as I still have about 3.5 hours left of work...

AFAIK, your bootloader will not change at all. Unless someone can create a BL downgrader app, which I am sure is easier said than done...

OMG, this is the best tool ever! worked perfect.
And for those of you who can't get installer on your phone, just run iBrickr, that worked for me. The original one, not the one for jailbreaking 1.1.3

yip works fine on my otb 1.1.2 the command bit was a pain as vista automaticaly runs from documents but i got there in the end great tool

I habe a 1.1.2 OTB phone and manage to downgrade to 1.1.1 andd jailbreak
I spent nights over nights trying to update to 1.1.2 and jailbreak. I was tiered of the error messagfe when I hit the windows.bat file "Cannot connect bla bla bla"
This morning I woke up and there is was .....ziphone..this is great!
I even update eto 1.1.3 with iTunes and unlock the damn phone!

didnt work i can't seem to get the program to run. im on a mac with leopard. maybe itll work if i can get the freaken program to run. =(

i haven't successfully worked it so i don't have a guide. If anyone is using a mac with this program please post instructions on how you got it to work.

i jus opened up terminal and dragged the ziphone file into terminal to run it.

WoW! Oh freakin' hell - how can this be SO easy? 3min 15 sec to do?!!!
Well it worked great on an OTB 112 on a mac.
Just copy everything over to the home dir, then run ziphone from the terminal.

Im a little confused... does this unlock your iPhone even if you don't want it to? or can I Jailbreak my 1.1.3 AT&T iPhone w/ out the unlocking part of it?

Nope, you can just jailbreak is like me. All you have to do at the options section is put your phone into recovery mode, in your command prompt, type ziphone -j and then you should be good to go.

ok actually for some reason what i did earlier left me without installer? so i just restored to 1.1.3 via itunes and then ran the program again with all the boxes checked this time (i decided it couldnt hurt to unlock it too) and now it worked like a charm. I am glad that there is an easier way. Downgrading was getting a little annoying. Thank you zibri and thank you to the entire dev team and all that have been helping us mod our precious iphones.

using the gui interface i was getting this as well, and then i decided to mess around a bit. i checked both jailbreak and activate (instead of just jailbreak as my phone is already activated) and then it worked

well I just finish jailbreaking my OTB 16GB 1.13 iPhone that I just picked up tonight on Mac OS X 10.5.2

After activating my phone and worrying about how my friend will activate my old 8GB i decided to try this jailbreak method out since I was unsuccessful after upgrading to 1.13.

I copied the ZiPhone folder to my Home directory
I then opened Terminal and type:
cd ziphone {enter}
./ziphone -j {enter}

About 5~10 seconds later it's done

Ok, well I used it on XP, and I had some error because when you unpack it, the ziphone folder with the stuff is inside another ziphone folder. If you get the real folder onto your desktop, everything will work perfectly.

Okay so i have a OTB 1.1.2 thinking about the 1.1.3 dev. but since i have seen this anyone can tell me if i OFFICIALLY upgrade to 1.1.3 from itunes will this jailbreak it no problem i see people with 16 having no problems but i just wanna make sure that this jailbreaks it completely sorry if i sound like noob but i am loving my 1.1.2 still and if this doesnt jailbreak it all the way from the official upgrade then i stick with my 1.1.2

If you open your Macintosh HD and then go into the Applications folder then the Utilities folder you'll find a program called Terminal. Double click on it and it'll be similar to a DOS or Command prompt on a PC.

Type the commands that I posted earlier in my previous post and it should work for you as long as you have the ZiPhone folder that you downloaded and extracted in your Home directory (Username folder or Macintosh HD\Users\<your username>)
