Just so you know:
Jailbreaking with pwnage tool 2.0.3 is creating an issue with passwords for wifi and email being stored.

The Fix:

1. SSH into the device
2. Change the permissions on the folder /var/Keychains to 777

I concured. It worked.
I'm a happy camper now...got my everything back.
Still looking at my bare boring phone though...but by tomorrow, it will be an IPHONE again..Woot WOOT

please back track the thread. the solution was posted a few posts back. SSH into your phone and change permissions. (if you can SSH at all-I lost my ability to do this after 2.0)

Actually I thought I had lost it when I went to 2.0.2 It turns out you just need to "jiggle the lightswitch" heheheh you just need to open BossPrefs and toggle wifi on/off a few times. It usually works on the 2nd or 3rd ip.

username = root
you'll get a warning screen in which you click continue

Scrap that- I'm connected. So what do I do in this Fugu Menu to get my passwords to enabled in the iphone. I know its something about 0777. but that doesn't tell me much. Julie if you're still around could you continue to be being awesome and help me finish this task!?

I'm certainly no Julie, but I'm around:
1. click the up arrow in the upper right corner of fugu window until the window shows a disk/
2. go to var
3. "right" click the Keychains folder
4. click Get Info
5. Change "Octal Mode Representation" to 0777
6. Click Apply and close
7. Disconnect, reboot phone, and you should be good to go

ahh. RIGHT CLICK! If you're using a laptop it's 'ctrl' + click. Thanks, I saw that 0755 and changed it to 0777. looks to be running normally. Thanks Julie, and thank you everyone else for getting right to the problem and fixing it for me.

i hadn't heard of this solution yet but it sound simple enough! let's give it a try!

*edit* toggle doesn't work. wifi isnt' greyed out but my phone no longer detects any networks and when i try to add it manually, it says it can't find it. my building has 12 wifi points and it can't spot a single one LOL. hopefully the email is a random problem and i won't have it cause I can't ssh anymore hahaha.. pwned indeed!

Well now I can't sync. I upgraded 3G 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 but now I get stuck at Set Up Your iPhone screen in itunes. It backs up my apps, contacts etc. but I can't sync my media.

There have been problems with some users who upgraded to 2.0. Custom FW or not, some people have completely lost the ability to connect wifi. Some users have greyed out wifi (meaning they cannot even access the wifi settings) others can't detect any wifi networks, and then others can see but cannot connect. I have been in all 3 cases since upgrading to 2.0 and have heard some successful cases of downgrading to 1.1.4 to solve this problem. Others not so much. Still waiting for an update that fixes this. Maybe the Fw killed the hw? highly doubt it and hope not jailbroken phones have no warranty... Until then I'm running with no wifi and no email... might be time to downgrade.

Guys,,,i'm in trouble!!! I pwned it and got it working on 2.0.2 with usual problems of the MAIL not working, b4 trying to fix it, I was downloading my usual apps from CYDIA, since my ringer/silent switch is broken i was trying to download the MIVtones and just then it restarted and since then its been stuck on the pineapple logo for the last 30 minutes, i tried holding the power and home button to get it restarted,which it did but still once again got stuck at pineapple logo, i'm scared and dont know what to do,tried connecting it to iTunes and nothing happens since its stuck at pineapple logo, really unsure what to do now,,,help please!!!!

If you have a mac (which you should in order to run this app) you should only double click and it will unarchive itself.
