Anyone have same problem. I have mobile me. I sync mobileme account. So open iPhone Mail.app and I can't get any mail. WTF? Show message: wrong username or password. But everythink is correct. So open Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > YourMobileMeAccount > No password saved...

I know how to do that but once I restore i do not want to "set up as new iPhone" as i did when i first pwned to 2.0. I want to "restore from backup" so that I get back my camera roll, sms history, bookmarks, game scores, ect. I just want to know if that will work. It worked when I went from 1.1.4 to 2.0 but I had the mail app issue where it was crashing so I had to set up as new iphone. I'd like to not have to go through that.
Thanks

The new version of winpwn 2.5 supports iphone 2.0.2 firmware but alas, hasn't been released yet. The new version of quickpwn supports Bootneuter unlocking of 2G (not 3G) phones

I have the same thing. Even creating the account from scratch and getting all the verifications in Settings it still cannot read the password once you go into Mail.

on the dev team's blog this was written:

"The Password storage issue can be fixed by installing OpenSSH and applying a chmod of 0777 to /var/Keychains. This will allow the passwords to be stored to the Keychain database."

anyone else try it?

I got this from the dev team blog it seems to work, try it out:
The Password storage issue can be fixed by installing OpenSSH and applying a chmod of 0777 to /var/Keychains. This will allow the passwords to be stored to the Keychain database

Update: this fix works for me even after reboot of phone all passwords stay

I believe it has to do with file permissions being incorrectly set when unpacked with Archive Utility.

I tried the same thing and it worked for me. Did have to delete the mail accounts and resync them back in before it worked right. But as Beachwhale said, it works even through a reboot.

I suspect that there will be a pwnagetool 2.0.4 very soon ;-).

Has anyone experienced WiFi connection problems with Pwnage 2.0.2 with a Mac?
the jailbreak worked great on my 3G iPhone, but when I was in Google maps, wifi would disconnect and tell me the password was incorrect.

Sorry, way behind on that one. You'll have to excuse me. I've avoided OpenSSH and all the command things. just doesn;t seem like my field of exportees, but if its to save my passwords could someone please indulge on what is said above to someone like me who needs a step-by-step procedure?

I did an upgrade using the new Pwnage software and the phone is unlocked fine and able to browse with Safari, bit I just cannot make it connect to my pop email account. It says the email settings are incorrect although they are not - seems like the phone is checking something it didn't check before.
