Great app!! but how do I save the vids and download them to my computer?

That's great, I just have a problem with it.

I installed it from Cydia. When I try to open the app the black screen comes up then BANG, the app just closes down.

I have the same problem, at first it worked for me perfectly fine then it just started doing this. I rebooted my iphone and tried to open it up it just crashes. my iPhone is 3g the firmware is 1.1.2 Jailbroken of coruse. I tried reinstalling it nothing works,

Hi, need some help here....actually i've some videos taken thru cycorder previously...but as my iphone crashes and i did a restore+upgrade of firmware version, i've gotta reinstall cycorder and all the apps back....but now i lost all the previous cycorder recorded videos, is there anyway of retrieving it or any backups stored anywhere in the phone? Will appreciate any help given

We need an update or replacement for PPVideoEnabler!! (The app was taken down from Cydia) This is the program that puts the videos in the DCIM folder so you can easily pull the videos off your phone since they are in the same folders as your photos are.

That being said if you still want to use it you can manually install the PPVideoEnabler .DEB file on your phone. Hope this helps some people.

The Cycorder vid are stored in Var/Mobile/Media/Videos.

To download to a pc install
Totalcommander and the tpot
plugin on the pc then plug in ur iPhone and navigate to the above dir on the iPhone and copy desired file to ur pc

To those of u having trouble running cycorder install BossPrefs then seletct "Fix permissions" this should fix the problem.

That's a good way of doing it also. You'll have to remember that location if you are out on the road though. It's always nice to just have them in the DCIM folder and you can retrieve the videos from ANY computer not just one with SSH ability such as iphonebrowser etc. Fix it know and forget about it...

very clean app, all that needs to be made simpler is copying to computer and direct uploading. other than that, nice.

FYI: Cycorder videos off your iphone to email-Download Pixelpipe Free app from App Store then Download PPVenabler from cydia. Open Pixelpipe and you will set up you free account make sure you select your email address as upload destination just in case you want to edit or mod your mov file Next Open the PPenabler app and select ON for the top option then close Next go to Settings and scroll down until you see Pixelpipe and select yes or on to reset then press home button. Note-You can direct your videos and pictures to upload anywhere setting up in Pixelpipe. Personally, I send to my email address first before I upload from the laptop to youtube myspace etc. Click Thanks if I helped you.

So is there anyone who can help me out here? I've tried searching for the old videos at Var/Mobile/Media/Videos...but it shows only the new videos recorded after the firmware upgrade....does it means i permanently lost those old recorded cycorder videos?

If you restored your FW it sets the phone up as new so you lose everything that isn't synched.

You have to install it manually.. Go back one page for directions.
