Cycorder is great IMO. Would better without the ads, but great nonetheless. Some lag with the video but hey I can live with that.

Same question, but in the other direction. With the new camera API, When is cycorder or iphone video recorder going to update to work with 3.0. Im dying over here without a video cam.

Iphone video recorder is working on 3.0 i have it and works perfect!

Did you need to do something special to get it to work under 3.0b5? It just crashes back to Springboard for me.

You're right. With the built in video cam with the option to upload directly to youtube or download the file, no need for any other app.

Yes, the 3GS is the way, but given that that is £540 and the CyCorder app is free (I've got the trial, not sure how much the full version is (I guess only $20 or so)) I know which would be the more popular choice.

Having said that, if I could get the 3GS for a half that price, I would definitely get it!

So, there's a new version of Cycorder today, not yet showing up in Cydia, but available for manual download here:

I installed it but don't notice a difference. on my 2.2.1 phone.

I suspect that it's a 3.0 compatible version, though. =)

I still get the 0.9-5 version. I see from the link downloaded that its 0.9-6. Teies adding the source also. No luck

Awesome app. Who needs the 3gs? LOL. Well at least if you don't wanna run out and buy the 3gs you can still have a recorder. NICE. Oh, and Apple won't approve it in the App store because they want you to buy the 3gs, DUH!

And I think someone posted it already but the videos are found in /private/var/mobile/Media/Videos

Sorry but I have to ask this. I have been trying to update cycorder since Saturday with no luck at all. I have 0.9-5 version that crashes soon as starts. I read amolst everything I can on fix but most of it has to do with command lines. Is there a easier way to fix it? Thanks in advance.
