Easy method for those who don't search!!!!!!!!!!
From your jailbroken OTB 1.1.2 or OTB 1.1.3, make sure you have the following sources installed on your phone from Installer:
2) http://www.trejan.com/irepo (necessary if you are running 1.1.3)
Then make sure you have the following installed:
1) Community Sources
2) Bigboss's Beta/Experiment...
3) BSD Subsystem
4) Geohots Gunlock Script
5) SUID Lib Fix (a Term-vt100 fix if you are running 1.1.3)
Step 1: Go to Settings and set Auto-Lock to "Never" then SET AIRPLANE MODE!
Step 2: Go to Term-vt100 and enter the password: alpine
Step 3: In Term-vt100, then type the following:
- cd /usr/bin [Return]
- geounlock [Return]
Some "thanks" never hurt!

An even easier method!!!
Start with a jailbroken OTB 1.1.2 or OTB 1.1.3 with Installer and BSD Subsystem:
Step 1: Set "Auto-Lock" to "Never".
Step 2: Add http://installer.iClarified.com as a Source in Installer.
Step 3: Go to the iClarified category and install Geohot Unlock (1.1.2, 1.1.3).
Step 4: Phone is unlocked in about 5 minutes!!

I followed these steps and worked like a charm.. In the progress of soft updating to 1.1.3.
I had OTB 1.1.2 and before my upgrade to 1.1.3, this unlocked worked on 1.1.2 and using on Rogers.
success and now working on 1.1.3...I love it

hi, sorry i haven't been able to find a definitive answer after reading a few pages of this thread...
yes/no : this unlock works for OTB 1.1.2 upgraded to 1.1.3 via ITUNES? (with the latest baseband)
just one word answer would be fine!

Just hang in there man...i went thru the same struggle but i am using windows.
I want to thank everyone who basically posted anything to help me. My problem was i had a OTB 1.0.2 upgraded to 1.1.1 and ok prep to 1.1.2 i did the dev team 1.1.3 upgrade and ran any sim 1.3. After a day i restored my phone to 1.1.3 and was stuck. So thanks for all the info on how to downgrade and upgrade back up with 4.6 bootloader. Since i ran any sim i didn't have to use the files or anything. I just had to get my phone back to jailbroke 1.1.3 Thanks again

Sorry noob question here
Does 112 OTB have the same bootloader as 113 OTB? Is the bootloader the same for 113 OTB 16GB iPhone?
Dont want to end up with a 16 GB iphone which cannot be unlocked should I buy one
02-09-2008, 01:44 AM #220
