Okay, that didn't work. Thought I had it figured it out. Sheesh. I used Uniextract and opened up the GUI file, switched the pngs and ran the program. But the old logo and recovery pngs were still included. How to switch?

SInce this is only the quickpwn version and not really a custom firmware you can't change the recovery custom images. When the fuller version comes out you can

Actually you dont have an option at all to build any firmware. There isnt anything you check, including activation (youtube and carrier). The only option you have is whether or not you want Cydia and Installer. My mouth is salivating waiting for WinPwn 2.5 to come out. I just went back to 2.0.1 through winpwn 2.0.0.4 until 2.5 comes out. Youtube isnt activating and Im not able to figure out how to do this right now using quickpwn.
Because remember, Quickpwn only Jailbreaks it doesnt Unlock.

ok so i downloaded the 2.0.1 and the latest version of quickpwn gui i end anything having to do with iphone or itunes through task manager and when i double click on quickppwn icon on my desktop is get the following message "the application failed to intialize properly (0xc0000135) click OK to terminate the application. im running win XP with SP2, any ideas?

after i used winpwn i can't ssh into my directory's like themes, apps, roms, etc..
the exact error im getting looks something like this
"error listing directory 'private/var/stash/applications.lsgc.gr" whem i click on the more info tap i get
"No such file or directory.
Error code: 2
Error message from server: No such file
Request code: 11"


anyone else getting this problem?? tried restoring and stafrting over but keep getting the same problem

I can't unblock with quickpwn 2.0 the sim.

Does quickpwn 2.0 not unblock the sim ?!

never mind i found the solution on page 12

There must be this file in your itunes folder.

Try to search it with windows search

And delete it

Don't forget to end task the itunes related files

hi everyone i've just used quickpwn from winpwn 2.5 beta all seemed to work! no error messages, phone restarted no problems, got the "ipwned with winpwn 2.5!" screen on the phone but nothing else? what am i missing? its a 3g on 2.1 and i'm using vista! any ideas thanks everyone

You probably didn't check to install cydia. Run it again and check cydia this go around. You can run it again without any issues.

Thanks mate i really must be lost i can't see anywhere to select cydia or installer? just tried it again, it just does it all on the wizard? what have i missed?
