You must keep the 1.0.0 firmware files in the phonedmg folder! DO NOT replace them with the 1.0.2, it will not work.

Got the new SIM Card last night, went home and activated it, still no EDGE and will not go into wi-fi mode. It recognizes my home network and joins it but it will not go into wi-fi mode even when I have no AT&T signal at all.
Been back on the phone w/ Apple Care today. They made an appointment for me at 8:00pm tonight to put my SIM Card in a loaner phone. If it works then it was my phone, if it still doesn't it is AT&T.
If it's my phone they will either do a swap for a new one right there or give me a free loaner and send mine off for repair.
Will keep everyone updated.

Not trying to sound like a broken record, but to clarify/re-iterate
-You do have to do a complete restore, you'll lose everything
-Original jailbreak works
-Original iphoneinterface works
Do the update---it's worth doing.

You dont lose everything, just your mods. Your data its restored.
And what in this update made it worth doing?

Okay... wow, I'm really confused here... last time I updated, i had to restore my iPhone entirely, then as it was restoring all my synced info, it got an error... I lost everything, including my contacts. Is there any way to avoid this for this update?
Sorry guys, but I'm new to this...
