AppSnapp Updates - easier jailbreaking and upgrades

AppSnapp, everyone's favorite jailbreak site to date, has polished their service today with a few major upgrades.
Per their site, here's the new features:
- Updated! 2/1/08 Installs Installer.app v3.0 on the iPhone/iPod Touch with Community Sources preinstalled.
pf update: this does NOT install OkToPrep as they say it does - careful!
- New! 2/1/08 Reduced footprint and optimized for speed. We got rid of over 700KB of data and optimized the new application with the new toolchain.
- Fixed! 2/1/08 Now removes root.zip and youtube.zip (if present) from the root to make space for more music/apps.
- Fixed! 2/1/08 Fixed reliability issues and .svn/__MACOSX directory creation.
Rock on, fellers, much obliged.

I wish they had this last night when I did it. I am sitting on a unlocked, jailbroken 1.1.2 with no apps and NO INSTALLER.

A little clarification - AppSnapp is ONLY for jailbreaking 1.1.1. This update just makes it easier. Read the post. Any posts in this thread related to 1.1.3/1.1.2 jailbreaking etc will be deleted without warning, those topics have their own threads.

The 1.1.2 jailbreaker doesn't recognize the OktoPrep used by AppSnapp.

I agree with frank, I am not able to run the 1.1.2 jailbreak. It says I need to have oktoprep installed first.
Now I need to do a full reinstall, unless you know of anything else

with regards to stating the now fixed portion removes the youtube.zip and root.zip - i assumed those files were stock files, as i am on a jailbroken 1.1.2 phone done via using the appsnap method, can i delete those files from the iphone now? or...

Can anyone confirm if the OktoPrep is recognized by the 1.1.2 jailbreak or is this an issue for a select few?

It's super fast!!! However, found one glitch... If you get an error or a notice screen pops up while trying to install an app, you won't be able to install anymore apps successfully until you restart installer. Weird... ie. I tried to install 'Swap Tunes' not knowing that it wasn't for 1.1.3 and thereafter, every app that I installed had the 'for firmware 1.1.1 error' that I got. Simple fix however, just exit and you should be cool. They will fix it soon I'm sure.

The oktoprep does not not not not not not work with 1.1.2 jailbreak. Guaranteed, tried it 3 times, each time same error.
If you dont manually go and install oktoprep, when you go to jailbreak you get error saying that you need to have oktoprep to continued. But then you are screwed and need to start all over again.
Last time, I installed apptap and then installed oktoprep and it worked. I think that they need to fix jailbreak 1.1.2 to recognize this before it works right.

Doesnt work with 1.1.2 jailbreaker
@ cbrown87
go to http://modmyi.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page and clikc the big link at the top that says "i just got an iPhone...where do i start". it will get u to where u need to go
@ bosco0633, jltdhome
i tried twice using the 1.1.2 jailbreaker and it definelty doesnt work. u have to manually install BSD subsystems and then Oktoprep in order to be able to jailbreak on 1.1.2
