is it just me, or is his iPhone really BLUE?? i didn't know they came in blue. next thing you know they come in pink too. my friend would love that! i feel for that guy. i was watching a movie in bed on my phone and next thing i know i wake up and i have a phone shaped square on my arm and the phone was playing music from the credits of Airplane.

I heard from an AT&T rep that either they day the 3G came out or the next a kid using, i believe, a 16G white one burned his ear when the speaker on the phone shorted out. They were talking a possible law suit and some recalls but I don't know if that was just rumor or if it has gotten anywhere....apparently this isnt uncommon now haha.

This whole 3G iPhone iS B***S***! Everytime iTurn around there's a problem! iWas goin' to get one, but thanks to AT&T high data plan, i'M stickin' with my first gen iPhone that iGlady paid $599 plus a $500 deposit for. That and Apple worked the hell out of anybody that went for the bait. Wow, 3G and aGPS, cool! Not...them is the only two features Apple included. And don't try and quote me sayin' i'M jealous and that i'M broke. iHave two phones (iPhone 2G & Helio Ocean). i'M upgradin' my Ocean to the SE Xperia X1; as for the 2G iPhone, iDon't know, maybe the next model when they offer somethin' worth upgradin' for. *Cough* Front camera, and high resolution...

same here I love my iPhone 1st gen isn't yellow cracks randomly ignites lol (not really but u get it) it's a new product did u expect it to be perfect ? As far as this goes yeah iPhones get hot so do psp's and laptops it's normal specially if his doesn't auto lock and his screen was on for an hour

Same thing happen with my 1st gen a few months back except it was damaged to the point the phone wouldn't come on any more, I actually did see smoke and could smell something fried.

I took it to the apple store, the guy looked it over for like 2 secs plugged it in (guess to make sure the battery wasn't dea..err drained). Then handed me a new phone.

I was like wow thats it. Gotta be my best customer service experience ever (with some technology shyt anyway).
