Customize 2.1.1 is here and on Cydia
Well it looks like Customize finally hit Cydia and will be available on Installer soon. They said they are still working out a few bugs like the "about page and comments" but other than that it should work fine. You can find it on Cydia or download it HERE.
Notice for iphone 1.1.4 users
If you are on 1.1.4 then DO NOT upgrade to Customize 2.1.0 You must stay with Customize 2.0.x. The newer version will not work with 1.1.4. I will continue to support the 2.0.x versions for some time, until most users have upgraded to Firmare 2.0.
Thanks to our member bretthartt for the news.

After applying a theme you still cannot change your wallpaper through the settings menu.

Customize works together with summerboard to change wall papers so until summerboard is ported you most likely won't be able to see the wallpaper change.

Does anyone know, if and when there will be a 2.0-compatible version auf Summberboard?

"Customize was unable to access the theme server. Most likely you have a slow internet connection or the theme server is not responding."

^^^^ same. This is so aggravating. And when I apply a theme. Only 2 icons change. Nothing else. This is wack.

... installed, launched, it started backing-up some 50+MB of stuff already in my phone and, finally, crashed.
*uninstalling removes just the application itself* so, guys, remember to manually delete also all the extra stuff Customize creates on your phones.
then... back to patiently waiting for SummerBoard!

I'm able to change docks and icons manually, but "Apply Theme to Device" doesn't work for me either. I can't wait until it does though, I'm loving this new version. Once every function of this new interface works, I think we'll all be very happy.
Also, Hitting the play button on sound files crashes installer for me.

Yeah some things work, some dont. we gotta have patients tho, just a matter of time before summerboard comes out. then im sure everything will fall together smoothly.

Seems to work fine for me. The only issue I have is that I made a backup before I changed anything on the phone and then downloaded a few themes and applied them. Now I want to go back to my original setting. When I do this everything goes back to normal except for the "Lock Screen Wallpaper" this is stuck on whatever the last theme's wallpaper was. Obviously I can download a different one through customize and change it but the original wallpapers are not usable anymore. Anyone have any idea?

Here's a strategy I've been using.... Takes some time, but with both the v1.1.4 version of Customize, and now the new 2.0 compatible version of Customize, it's been worth it as some of the themes don't always do what you expect.
First, I sync the iPhone in iTunes. I then reload to the custom firmware I've made via PWN 2.0 (for Mac). Use iTunes to do a restore, and then sync. Then I get the iPhone completely setup as I want with the stock Apple iPhone icons, the App Store icons, and the Cydia icons (of what I installed). I sync one last time. iPhone is at a 'starting point'.
Install Customize from Cydia and immediately backup the original iPhone Theme. Then I play with any theme I want in Customize, get it to where i want, and then backup that theme. I now have an original Apple icon version to revert to, in case XYZ theme messes something up, and I have my new theme completely backed up. Takes me about 45 minutes to do it the first time, but then it's only a Customize version of a restore (or 2-3 minutes) to get back to the original Apple icon theme, which many of the themes seem to 'expect' when you start applying them.
HTH.

Sorry but this app shouldn't have been released yet. It changes no more than 2 icons no matter which theme you apply and sometimes locks up your iphone or makes it reboot. It's buggy as hell

@ pl_svn - Could you please name all the places, Customize saves it's information? I just found the app itself and the folder where the backups are stored. Is there anything else?
