Assembly Language is the mother of them all, closest thing to binary you're going to get. I don't know what these guys in particular do, but most simply use a Hex editor and a Code tracer. It's sort of akin to pausing your movie and then stepping through one frame at a time to see the details of what's going on.

Others use a disassembler, which takes apart the compiled code and puts it into Assembly. But believe me, Assembly is tough and monotonous.

i have an unlocked 1.1.2 OTB and i used NEXT SIM but a software unlock would be nice so i could sell it

so if i understand right... I'm not able to use anySim on my 1.1.2 otb phone even though i downgraded to 1.1.1, installed oktoprep, and updated again to 1.1.2. Even though it is jailbroken? What exactly is the reason for this? (sorry, I'm just confuuuuuused)

OTB 1.1.2 uses a newer bootloader. The only way to use anySim is to erase the current bootloader to a lower version which involves taking apart your phone and jumping some traces... along with a number of steps and praying....

Just be patient... they say the software unlock will be soon!
If you don't want to wait pay... for a modified sim card solution.
