Remove iTunes 7.7 without removing the apple mobile device support, restart the computer then load iTunes 7.5. Will fix the problem.

Maybe the 1601 Error is because I checked Cydia installation (I'm running Vista).
Maybe I should uncheck the Cydia and run it this time and see if it'll work.

PWND!! I unchecked Cydia (as mentioned several posts ago) and everything went just as the steps were outlined.
-Built the file and got the "successfully created... click OK" button. Before it would build then close winpwn.
-After building, clicked ipwner and selected the file and got "iTunes pwnd click OK" button. Before it would close iTunes and show "killing itunes" in the pwn window, but no confirmation button.
-I opened iTunes, went into DFU and now I am pwnd!
Unchecking Cydia did the trick. But this brings up the question: How will I get Cydia (tomorrow or when the bug gets solved) onto my iPod? Will I have to re-pwn? Is there another way? BTW, without Cydia, no SSH. No SSH can't load Cydia manually.Last edited by jailwut wunnow; 07-24-2008 at 03:14 AM. Reason: grammar
