When we make custom iPSW, do we check the "neuter bootloader 3.9/4.6"??

Or can we leave that unchecked, and even without it, it'll unlock the phone?

Is installer supported for the iPhone 3g or just Cydia?

Yeah, first you browse for the iPSW that you should've downloaded. After that loads, you click "iPSW builder".

But I'm confused in iPSW builder, what exactly do we check if we want the phone unlocked (do we check the "enable baseband update" or the "neuter bootloader3.9/4.6"?

If we DO install neuter bootloader, it asks for the 3.9/4.6 bootloader files, which I have no idea where to get from...

Anyone please help?

I wish this unlocked the 3g, i have two phones in my pocket one for answering calls and a glorified iPod touch that I cant make calls on...so pissed.

Well, I'm giving up for the night. I've built my ipsw image, pwned iTunes, put the iPhone in DFU mode and got error 1600, 1601, and 1604. I've uninstalled/installed iTunes, changed USB ports, popped out my SIM card and nothing is working.

I'm glad I kept the jailbreak112 java app with 'boot from recovery' option so I can go back to using my phone until I can get this working. =/
