I never used the original winpwn1.0 but I remener reading something about moving files into some folders. Or something like that! Could that have anything to do with the errors we are getting? Just a thought

Based on that error Id say youre trying it in restore mode not DFU mode.. is there a graphic on the screen when you think you are in DFU? if so, then from what ive been reading you arent in DFU...

Yes, worked like a charm on my firstgen phone with 1.1.3 with the new 2.0.0.2 version! but i was very nervous about something going wrong the whole time!
