On your iPhone go to deviantpower.com/flash and follow the directions there.

And that's it. You're done.

This really was the easy way to do it. Thanks.
However this is just the beginning. It only works with certain embedded youtube videos. Hopefully they will get to work with all flash.

Here is what you do:

Go to deviantpower.com/flash on your iPhone and follow the directions there.

Once completed, go to a website with flash content. A blue square should come up with a question mark.

Now click on the bookmark you made from before and now the blue square is gone. You will see the video, if it is the correctly supported format, with the iPhone's YouTube Icon on top of it. Click on the icon and the video will open up in YouTube.

If you send me an email with a video or a link to a video I will put it up on my site so that it is accessible by your the iPhone.

I have tried all the methods listed here, and some that are not, and still nothing. I get the java code, click on it, the grey circle goes round and round and nothing!
Is anyone else having this problem?

same here i tried every steps..all steps haha..i think its because everytime i edit it i can see that the last part is changed.this is supposed to look like...(%27head%27)[0].appendChild(s);}void%200; but then it changes to this (%27head%27)%BO%5D.appendChild(s),%7Dvoid%200; .....

i dont know if this just happened to me only..lol..
can anybody find any solution?i tried everything but it happen all the time..thank you

It is all smoke and mirrors, this magic web app does not work! period!
I have wasted hours with every single method out there, and still can't make the stupid panda movie play on my iphone, I give up!

It only works on sites with flash video linked from youtube. I wanted and tried with others such as metacafe but no hope.

Does anyone know how to modify YouTube application code (on iPhone) to work with Metacafe in the same manner?

yea thats good and all but all it does is check the link of the broken YOUTUBE plugin and transfer your over to the youtube player... all we want is a player where we can play videos from metacafe and spikedhumor and other sites... But this feature is usefull I cant believe apple was stupid enought to miss something like this, They should put this up on an update where if we see a youtube video on a site, all we have to do is tap to see it... that would be awesome

Ok, am I freaking missing something?? If I hit youtube on my iphone, it lets me see and play anything I want?? What I really wanna watch is MTV shows, is this what this is all about?? Cuz i know when I try to go and watch some MTV reality shows, it says it needs the flash player,or some crap to the effect?? So is this where this comes into play, is this what everyone is talking about?? But, what does all this have to do with youtube?? Ayyy yaaa yaaaah!! I'm confused!!

This is how you get it. Noob tutorial (i was a noob too, i just figured it out)

You must be on your iTouch or iPhone

One: Go to the website http://joemaller.com/2008/01/12/itransmogrify/

Two: You will notice that there will be two blue boxes with question marks. Under the 2nd blue box there will be a sentence You can also add iTransmogrify from your iPhone! click on it....This will lead you to the tutorial on how to add it

Three: Press the + button to add it to your bookmarks then save it

Four: Go back to your bookmarks and it should be there, now edit that book mark. Place the editing point between the "?" and the j in "javascript", then tap and hold down the delete key.

Your bookmark should be "javascript:if%28typeof%28iTransmogrify%29%3D%3D%27 undefined%27%29%7Bvar%20s%3Ddocument.createElement %28%27script%27%29%3Bs.src%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fjoema ller.com%2FiTransmogrify-latest.js%3Fq%3D%27%2B%28new%20Date%29.getTime%28% 29%3Bdocument.getElementsByTagName%28%27head%27%29 %5B0%5D.appendChild%28s%29%7Dvoid%280%29"

save it.

Now go back to the home page which is http://joemaller.com/2008/01/12/itransmogrify/ and you will notice again the 2 blue boxes. Go to you book mark and load the javascript and both of those boxes should show up!!


P.S i have noticed that only websites that has youtube videos can use this javaapp. I cannot view my fav porn vid sites! LOL!!!
